A/N: Hello everyone. Trying to get some of these chapters pumped out for ya. As always, thank you so much for your support.

SyraTsukiano and Estrellalover Such suspicions!? Would I really put our favorite characters through pain and suffering? Stop laughing....

Jofisk I'm glad I nailed the experience of having a sleepless baby. I don't have any kids yet so I just just guessed / did some research. I do have two dogs. They are my babies currently.

/Thoughts/

"Hello, Aibou," the sexy baritone voice drifted over the phone line, instantly sending chills rampaging down Yugi's spine.

"Hello, Atem. I just got to our camp near Kunji Cave," Yugi sighed, exhausted. The petite man ran his fingers through  his hair and stared at the tent where he would be staying through the duration of the dig.

"I'm glad you made it safely. How was the trip?" Atem inquired.

"It was a little boring. I'm glad I brought a few books on the cave. I think this dig is going to be so much fun," Yugi heard cooing from the other end of the phone. His heart melted. Oh how he missed his daughter, "How is Layla?"

"She is doing well. She misses you though," Atem responded. "Aaaand she is taking the phone and..."

"And?" Yugi's eyebrow climbed his brow; a smile tugged at his lips.

"My phone is now covered in drool," the pharaoh chuckled, "She tried to give you a kiss."

"I miss both of you so much. This is going to be hard. I've never been away from you for this long before," Yugi state sadly.

"It will be okay, Aibou. At least it is only three weeks. Are you joining the dig tomorrow?" Yugi closed his eyes and listed to Atem's warm and comforting voice caress his eardrum.

"Yes. Speaking of which, I need to go set up and check my gear before it gets too dark. I will call you later," Yugi placed his bags on the ground and sifted through them.

"Okay. I love you, Yugi," the amethyst eyed spouse heard Layla gurgle and coo again, "And Layla says she loves you too," Atem laughed.

"I love you both. Give her a kiss for me?" Yugi pleaded.

"Of course! I would never pass up a chance to give Layla a kiss. Goodnight my love," Yugi could hear the smile in Atem's voice and in the proclamation of love.

"Goodnight, Atem." Yugi responded before hanging up.

Later that night, Yugi sat in the large tend that served as the archaeology crew's bar and common area. He sighed, homesickness already digging it's claws into him. His once hot tea  no longer steamed. It sat forgotten while the petite man's fingers traced the knotted wood of the table he occupied, completely lost in his own thoughts.

"Well aren't you a cutie," A gruff voice said as a tall burly blonde haired man sat down next to Yugi; his eyes covered with sunglasses even though night was well upon them. "I'm Kieth," The man reached his hand out offering it to Yugi.

"Yugi," he said, accepting the hand. Keith pulled the small hand up to his lips and placed a rough kiss on it.

Yugi pulled his hand away from the blonde, "I would appreciate it if you didn't touch me like that."
