The second day that I was in the infirmary, I slept. Alot.

According to Michael, I was out for hours at a time. I only woke up to have brief conversations with Will, (of which I have no memory) and to, and I quote, "inhale disturbing amounts of McDonalds."

Of course, Lucas still had me beat in the sleeping department. The kid's brown hair was always peeking out just above the blankets, and I only saw him awake when Will forced him to eat and use the restroom. As soon as he wasn't being held up, he would disappear back under the covers. Jordan, on the other hand, was almost violently awake.

"C'mon, Will! I've been stuck in here for days. I've gotta do something! It's so boooooring."

"The infirmary isn't meant to be entertaining," he would say, never turning around. "It's meant to keep you from hurting yourself in the healing process. If I let you out too early, you'll run around showing everyone your missing and get infected. So no, you're not leaving until you're better" Jordan wasn't buying it. In her eyes... well, eye, she had been 'better' since she first stepped foot in the cabin. She could run a marathon! She could fight a hellhound! The only thing she couldn't do was get past Solace.

After a while, Jordan started stealing small items from around the cabin, in hopes she could somehow annoy him enough to expel her from the cabin. It didn't work.

"Put the stethoscope back."

"Let me guess; you just really needed a jar of tongue compressors for your Mother's day gift."

"Jordan, I can see the eye chart under your cot. You know, it's not going to restore your sight any better than ambrosia will, right?"

Eventually she got tired of the game, and would stare out the window at all the activities she couldn't take part in.

"I want to climb the rock wall," She groaned, watching a first year camper get his eyebrows singed off by lava. "And I hate the rock wall. Can you please just check under the bandage? The headache is gone. I'm fine! Just give me an eyepatch, or something. Please! I beg of you!" Will just rolled his eyes.

"Dude. I am the daughter of the god of travelers. I NEED TO TRAVEL FARTHER THAN THE BATHROOM AND BACK IN A DAY." Will shook his head.

"I'll let you out on the same day Nico leaves. Deal?" He stuck out one callused hand. She took it without hesitation.

"Deal. Aye, Nico!" The curtains I'd spent 10 minutes arranging to block the window's sunshine and not Sunshine himself shot open, and she grinned down at me.

"What?" I grumbled.

"Hurry up and get better, so Sunshine here'll let me go." I glared, and yanked the curtains back to their original position,.

"Sure, yeah, great. Go away." I flopping back down into the pillows. Stupid Jordan, messing with my perfect curtains. I just wanted a nice dark nap.

I heard Michael laugh. "Jordan, you just made one stupid deal."

"Why?" She scoffed. I had to strain to hear the whispered conversation. I didn't usually eavesdrop, but hey! They were talking about me.

"Well, Nico will obviously be in here more than 3 days, hanging around Will like a lovesick puppy." She blanched. Micheal laughed harder.

"I want a new deal! I get out the day he's allowed out, not the day he leaves!!!"

Will just shook his head.
