I drive for around an hour, blaring my music in attempt to quiet down my thoughts, before I arrive to Anna's house.
To be honest, I'm not very excited for this trip anymore. My night has already been ruined, so I'd much rather be in my bed crying away my sorrows; but no, I'm going to spend the night in an abandoned building that I probably won't even make it out alive from.
How lucky am I?
I park my car and walk up to Anna's front door, ringing the doorbell. I wait impatiently for at least 5 seconds, then decide to ring it again.
Not even a second after that does the door swing open and give me the pleasure of being met with a face of nothing but beauty, belonging to a certain German exchange student.
"Hey, Adam!" I say, trying to act like I'm excited to be here and also like I'm not completely in love with him.
"Hey, Cara. Come on in! Everyone is upstairs," he replies with the sexiest accent I've heard in a hot minute.
I give him a small smile to which he responds with a smirk, following me close behind.
"So you and Anna are good friends?" he asks.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that," I respond, giggling softly, trying to cover up my nerves of his body so close to mine.
"Anna is awesome. You're really lucky to have her as a friend. She's been so nice to me ever since I got here," he says, flashing me a smile.
By the time he finishes his sentence, we reach the top of the stairs, so I turn right down the long hallway towards the sound of giggling voices.
I open the door and am almost knocked to the ground by the force of two large male bodies jumping on me in excitement.
"CARA!!!!" screams JJ.
"Finally, you're here. What took you so long?" asks Carson jokingly, sending me a cheeky wink.
"Oh sorry. I just took so much time making sure I looked sexy enough for you," I say, biting my lip.
I may have forgotten to mention that Carson and I have sort of a weird relationship.
"Babe, you'd look sexy enough for me no matter how much time you took," he says, while looking me straight in the eye.
Not a second later, we erupt into a fit laughter that ends with us crying on the floor, while the others give us weird and creeped out stares.
"That was the b-b-best one yet," he laughs hysterically.
"HAHAHAHA I know right," I reply, laughing just as hysterically as he is.
"Are we interrupting something....?" Anna questions, with a confused look on her face.
"Uh, no. Sorry," I say, as I realize that they are probably really confused.
"Ok well, let's go downstairs and make sure we have everything for the trip!" she says excitedly.
The four us follow her down the stairs and into the kitchen, where she pulls out a lengthy list of things we need to bring.
