It's Him

It's been a month now and I can't seem to go a week without having that dream at least twice. I couldn't be more confused. I've had dreams that repeat before, but they're usually about something strange. An impossible goal I have... or something that's purely fantasy. But this? It was so vivid. Every detail fit with the others and formed a story that was exactly the same every. Single. Time.
     "Lauren."
     "Lauren?"
     "Lauren!"
Melody pulls me out of my trance.
Her and Jasmine are looking at me like they're trying to communicate with a martian.
"You we're doing it again" says Melody.
      "Still thinking about the dream?"
I had told them everything and kept them updated every time I had the dream. I remember always feeling a strange sense of familiarity when I saw the eyes in my sleep. The deep wells of swirling chocolate making me feel safe and accepted. I know that I've seen them before... but where?
Snapping drew me back to reality, again.
"Oops... sorry, Mel." I say, embarrassed. I then begin to explain the feeling I get when staring at the eyes, just before I wake up. It stumped all of us.
"OMG!! Lauren!" Shouts Jasmine, suddenly. "You have a crush on the boy in your dream!"
"But, Jaz. How can I have a crush on someone that I can't even recognize in real life?" I state, honestly puzzled "I probably just made up his character."
"You've just explained to us that the eyes look familiar to you." She tries to explain. "Nobody can dream up something that detailed and feel like the recognize the complexity."
"Yeah, Lauren," Mel adds. "Nobody has exactly the same pair of eyes. You like a boy! We have to figure out who he is."
Melody and Jasmine look at each other for a second and then both start teasing me.
"Oooooooooooooooo" they say, laughing, over and over again. I roll my eyes as we head to class.
I picked up my books from my locker and headed to chemistry. On my way, I trip over someone's stack of papers that they'd discarded in the middle of the hallway. My chemistry homework and textbooks scatter everywhere and I fumble with them, trying to pick them up. I'm so flustered, at this point, that I don't even notice that a boy has knelt down beside me and is helping me collect my work. He passes my textbook and three of my homework pages to me in a neat stack. It's then that I fully take in his features. Dark hair, athletic jaw, thin, is strong nose, full lips, and dark brown eyes the colour of chocolate. I froze. It's him.
