Hi my name is Lily and this story is about how my best friend Caitlin got to marry the love if her life! We are both in our last year if school.
It was thursday and it was school. Ugh boring!! But today was no ordinary day of school, today my class got to go on a 7 day camp at RiverWood Downs! Yay! I arrived at Caitlin's house pretty early so we wouldn't be late. I knocked on the door and he mum came to greet me in. 'Oh hi Lily how are you?'
'Good thanks! Is Caitlin ready?' 'Yes she is just coming now'
I stand there waiting for about 2 minutes and the Caitlin comes. I see her pretty face glaring at me like something was wrong! 'What is it?' I say confused 'uhhhh nothing except that u have a HUGE SPIDER ON YOUR FACE!!' 'Oh my fucking gosh get it off!!'. That day I died from the Spider bite.
Haha just joking with you!
I got it off with a stick and so Caitlin said goodbye and we were off. It took about 15 mins to get to the school gates.
We herd the bell so we ran to the bus waiting for us in the school car park.
'Sorry were late' I said to the bus driver and the teacher. We got onto the bus and found a seat that was 6th from the front.
The trip goes for 2 hours from what we have been told. I had just got my phone out of my bag to listen to music when my boyfriend (who was on the seat behind me) said 'Hey babe do you know what Drew is going to ask Caitlin after camp?' 'No what is it?' 'Well after this camp is over school is finished' 'yeah so'
'Well he is going to ask her to marry him!' 'Oh really?! Thats great wow she will surely say yes!'
At that moment I thought about me and Nathan, and would he do that with me or does he not love me enough? I wanted to scream out how much I loved him and how much I wanted to marry him and if I didn't then I would never forgive myself!
But I still felt so happy for Caitlin of what she has achieved!!!!
Lucky Caitlin didn't hear all that, she was to busy fallen even more in love with Drew.😍
We finally arrived, Caitlin and I started to set up our tent and unpacked our stuff. 'Shit, I think I forgot my toothbrush!' I said
'Oh its ok I brought a spare' said Caitlin.
She is literally the besets friend anyone could ever have!!
The teacher started to come past our tents and said that we need to be ready in 10mins for dinner at the awesome restaurant that they had! So Caitlin and I put on a bit of make-up to make us look "sexy"....haha.
We got a seat and as soon as we sat down dinner was served. 'Yum my favorite!!' Caitlin said. Sausages and mashed potatoes with gravy. Mmmm!!
I started eating when Nathan came over to sit next to me as well as Drew who sat next to Caitlin. He turned to look at me and I turned back. I suddenly fell into heaven! I was glazing into his eyes that were sparkling blue with a touch of green. Unexpectedly he grabbed my hands and placed his smooth lips against mine. I didn't let go as I was thinking what Our life could be like together.
Finally I let go,
'I love you Nathan and I can never imagine what my life would be without you'
'I love you to Lily and I will never leave you'
After dinner we went back to a big surprise at camp. A BONFIRE!! A huge bonfire with marshmallows ready to be cooked.
We all set out into the bushes to find marshmallow sticks. I went with Caitlin, Drew and Nathan. I found a perfect stick down a little hill into the bushes. Then suddenly I slipped down the hill! I was screaming and crying the pain hurt so much!!
Nathan ran down to get me. He picked me up and carried me back to camp. He laid me down on the grass and went and got a teacher. The teacher came running towards me. I was still screaming as I noticed that i cut a hole in my leg and so everyone started crowding around me. I was scared!
They straight away took me to reception who drove me to a hospital 15mins away. Nathan and Caitlin came with me.
When I got back to camp 1hr later i had a big surprise, everyone came to me and was so worried about me. And they even left us some marshmallows.
The next morning we all got up early to get ready for swimming in the river.
The river there was amazing! It even had rapids and platypuses. When we got there we all jumped off a rock and swam all the way down the river to the deepest part.
'Look, I think I can see something swimming over there!' Drew said
'Oh yeah, what is it?' Said Nathan
'It is a platypus!!' I said. 'Wow!' Caitlin said. After that we stayed around the deepest part for 20mins talking about our love with each other.
