A Dog's Journey

Chapter 5

I woke up hungry. My eyes still focussing on the world around me. Once they focused I realized I was in a cardboard box. 3 little puppies ran around the box. It was cold and damp. Of course I shivered, the biggest dog in the box must've noticed because she put her tail over me to warm me up. I then realized that I was reborn. I was shocked. I knew I had to find Trent. I was going to no matter what. I yipped and yipped and yipped until a man. A very tall man came and threw me out of the box. Once my paws landed on the ground I ran. I ran until my legs couldn't take it any longer. I was in a dark ally. So I looked around and saw a small crate. I went in it and soon dozed off. When I woke up it was bright and sunny and people were everywhere. I got up slowly as I heard a growl come from behind me. I turned around to see a big brown bulldog in front of me. He barked again and I was off. I ran dodging or at least trying to dodge every foot I saw. I hit the foot of a blonde haired boy. "Aww aren't you a cutie? What are you doing here all by yourself huh?" I knew the voice from anywhere! It was Trent! I shivered, and Trent got the message. He wrapped me in his coat then starts walking really fast until we reached this big hotel thing. Once we were in Trent's room, Trent took of his jacket and let me out. I began to hip happily. "No puppy shhhhhh" Trent yelled. I immediately shut my mouth.
