Chapter 4

I woke up and looked around the room. It was still a little bit dark outside.

I sat up and stretched.'Perfect.' I got out of bed and got changed into my pink sports shorts and my black sports bra. I brushed my hair and put it up in a high pony tail. After that i put my runners on and snuck down the hallway, trying to not wake Loki up.

I left the house and started running. I ran for a little while until i got to the beach. The sun was now starting to come up. I caught my breath and then kept on running along the beach.

I opened the door and walked into the house, trying to catch my breath and covered in sweat.

I closed the door behind me and turned around. I suddenly froze.

Loki sat at the table only wearing shorts, looking at the pictures in the newspaper. He looked up and froze as well.

I scratched the back on my neck."Um...hi." He smiled and looked me up and down."Hello."

'Well this is awkward.'

He closed the newspaper."So you go for runs?" I nodded and stepped away from the door.

"Wearing that?" I nodded again. He scratched his chin."Ok." I walked over to the table and sat down, taking my shoes off.

I sighed."Your up early." "Uh...yea." I looked at him."Loki...why are you sitting here reading the newspaper?" He leaned back in his chair."Because i was waiting for you to get back." I frowned."Why?" "Because i'm hungry."

'Ok, this is weird.' "You don't need me to feed you! Look i'll show you where the cereal is!"

I stood up and walked into the kitchen with Loki following me. I opened a cupboard."Look! Heres the cereal!" Loki frowned."What's...cereal?" I rolled my eyes."Food!!" I opened the fridge."Theres the milk." He smiled."Milk!" He reached for the carton on milk."What are you doing?" He smiled."I want some."

I gave him a funny look."Your a grown man, not a 5 year old." He frowned and put the milk back."Fine then." I shook my head and opened a draw."Spoons are here." I pointed to another draw."Bowls are in there." I turned to face Loki.

He was just staring at me."Why do you wear that?" I frowned and looked at what i was wearing."Because it's comfy! Why do you ask stupid questions?" He shrugged.

I rolled my eyes."Can you go put a shirt on, please. I-it's weird with you walking around with no shirt on." He sighed."What ever."

'I need a shower.'

It was around about lunchtime and Loki had been drawing 'again.'

I walked down the stairs to go into the study. I sat in the chair and turned my laptop on. My laptop always takes forever to turn on. I sat there waiting for it to come on.

After a few seconds the background appeared. Everything was still loading. I leaned back in the chair and looked at my background.

It was just a random guy shirtless standing with his hands behind his head staring at the camera. I found him very sexy. He was very muscly and i loved his abs.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door frame. I jumped and looked away from the screen. Loki was about to say something until he realised i was staring at the guy. He kept looking at the screen and back at me.

"Um...." I swung my chair around to face him."Whats up?" He pointed at my laptop."Boyfriend?" I started to laugh."I wish. I don't even know him."

Loki cleared his throat."Oh. Anyway...it's lunch time and i'm hungry."

I moaned and hit my head on the desk, repeatedly. "Whoa, what are you doing!? Stop that!!!!" I looked up at him."Stop telling me your hungry!!"

He frowned."Well...i don't know how to make anything!!" I sighed."Well if you waited i would of made you something!!" "So your gonna let me starve!!"

I sighed."YEA!!!" He gasped. I rolled my eyes."It's called sarcasm!!"

He crossed his arms. I stood up."Your so annoying!!" He gritted his teeth."Did you ever think that your annoying!!!"

I walked towards him. I pushed his chest making him fall backwards. He hit the wall and a picture fell down and hit his head.

"Your so pathetic!!!" I walked out of the study. He quickly stood up.

"I could hurt you real bad so...don't push it!!" I started to laugh."Oooh, getting all tough are you!!"

He pretended to throw something at me...well, he actually did. A ball of fire hit me in the chest."Ow!!"

He smiled and kept doing it. I moved closer to him and punched him in the nose again.

He stumbled back a bit. "Stop it!!" He looked at me."You are a weak, pathetic mortal!"

I slapped his face."You are...an asshole!!!" "Your a...mewling quim!!"I laughed."You know what!! You are the worst prince ever!! Prince of assholes!!"

"Well if you came to Asgard...EVERYONE WOULD HATE YOU!!!" We started yelling in each others faces.

"Everyone probably hates you now, in Asgard!!" "You make me want to puke!!!"

I smiled."You make me want to run away and die!!!" He frowned."Well maybe you shou-!!"

I grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him towards me. Our lips crashed against each others. Straight away i felt a little tingle.

His lips were so soft and they even tasted like mint!! Once i realised what i was doing i pushed him in the chest.

He stumbled back a bit. I stared at him."Kate?" I shook my head and and ran up the stairs."Kate!?"

Loki ran after me. I ran into my room, closing the door and locking it. Loki banged on the door."Kate!! Let me in!?"

'What the hell did i just do!?'

"No!! Go away!!" "Please!" I gulped."Loki i didn't mean to kiss you! I-i don't like you in that way!!" I herd him sigh."I don't either!" I sat down and leaned against my door.

It was now dark out side and i was just about to leave for work.

After what happened today, me and Loki haven't said anything to each other.

I opened the door and saw Loki looking at me in the corner of my eye. I looked at him."I'm going to work." He nodded."Bye."

I walked out the door and went to work.

I got home from work and just wanted to relax.

I noticed that Loki must still be awake because some lights are still on. I looked in the kitchen and noticed that one of the cupboards were open.

I noticed that the packed of lollies that was up here is now gone.

I smiled and went up stairs. Loki's light was on.

I walked down to his room and knocked on the door frame.

"Knock knock."

His head quickly whipped up and he closed his drawing book.

I walked in."I noticed the lollies were gone." Loki smiled and looked at the empty packed."Sorry." I sat next to him on the bed.

"How was work?" I sighed."Alright i guess." He nodded.

I looked at his drawing book."What have you been drawing?"I noticed his cheeks went a bit red."Nothing much. Just things from home."

I nodded."Can i see them?" He cleared his throat."Their not finished yet." I smiled.

'Obviously he's hiding something.'

We both went quiet for a few seconds.

"Loki, about today...i'm really sorry. I didn't mean...to kiss you, seriously." Loki smiled."It's ok. Just saying, i didn't...like it...i mean...because i don't like you in that way."

I smiled too."Same."
