Is This Love

Chapter 10

I smiled. "Yes." He chuckled and picked me up, spinning in circles. Once he put me down he started to kiss me.

We both pulled away. "I love you." He smiled. "I love you more." I was about to say something but a guard skidded around the corner.

"My prince!!" Loki's head whipped to the side to look at him. "Their back!!! They broke all the fences!! And now their headed for palace!!!" He rolled his eyes and moaned. "Not again!" He kissed me on the cheek. "Cya tomorrow."

He started running down the hall way and shouted "get me my horse!!" I smiled as he turned the corner.

I woke up and turned onto my tummy. I herd the sound of birds chirping away outside. After a few minutes of laying there, i suddenly felt uncomfortable, like...someone was watching me.

I slowly sat up and looked around the room. In a chair beside the bed was Loki. He was already dressed and his hair was done.

I frowned. "What are you doing?" He coughed. "Sitting here."

'What the hell!?'

"What, so now your watching me sleep, just because we said we love each other?!" He smiled. "No." "Then why are you watching me!!??" He looked at out the window. "Because you look extremely beautiful when you sleep."

I sighed and rubbed my eyes. "That still doesn't give you permission to watch me sleep! Just because we love each other it doesn't exactly mean we're together!" He chuckled and stood up, walking slowly around the room.

"Ah Kate, i don't need permission to watch you sleep. I am the Prince of Asgard so...i do what i want. Aaaand i never said we were together."

I moaned and laid back down. He walked over to the bed. "So, your saying your going to keep watching me?" He chuckled. "Maybe."

After he said that, he headed for the two golden doors. My mouth dropped open and i quickly sat up. He opened the doors. "C'mon love, time to get up!!" And with that he left the room.

I frowned. 'He can't just do that!!' I got out of bed and quickly got dressed. After that i ran out of my room, searching for Loki.

I ran outside and headed for the stables. When i got there Loki had hold of his horse and he was talking to someone. I huffed and walked over to him.

"You bastard!!" Straight away his head and the other guys whipped around in my direction. The man smiled. "Uh oh, your in trouble." Loki sighed. "This can't be good."

I stopped in front of him so he couldn't see the other man. "How dare you say that!!! You do not have the rights to watch me sleep!!!" As soon as i said that everyone looked at Loki.

The man started to laugh. "Wow, your gonna go through hell buddy." Loki frowned at him. "Shut up!!!" Everyone slowly started to go back to what they were doing.

"Listen Kate...." I glared at him. "No you listen!! If you-." He pressed his finger against my lips. He smiled. "Sorry darling, i have to go."

He mounted his horse and rode away.

'Now he's calling me darling!!!'

It was late in the afternoon and i decided to go for a walk in the forrest.

Loki had been gone for most of the day which sucked because i really wanted to just...yell at him.

As i was walking i herd a stick snap. I gasped and turned around to see if anyone was there.

'Nothing.'

I kept on walking. After a minute or two it sounded like there was footsteps behind me. I turned around again, only to see nothing and the footsteps had stopped. I looked around me.

Thor had once told me that there was a dangerous part of the forrest and that i had to be careful not to go into it.

'Shit, i'm probably in it now'.

My eyes looked at one tree to another. They all looked the same. Thor had said if you enter it make sure to check for anything odd looking, awful smells, movement, and he also said if you put your hand out and try to feel the air and you can feel it, run, run as fast as you can.

Well number one, nothing looked odd, number two, no awful smells, number three, well, the leaves were moving. I stuck my now shaking hand out to try and feel the air.

I waved it around slowly, rubbing my fingers together then suddenly...crap...it kinda feels...like...uh oh.

I started to run as fast as i could. In a few seconds there was a giant hand on my neck. I got pulled against a firm chest.

I saw a flash of white. Then suddenly there was two giant pale men standing in front of me. They both had evil smiles on their faces.

They had black eyes and sharp, yellow teeth. On their bodies was dirt and moss and the only thing they were wearing was an old cloth around their waists.

The one holding me started to run with the other two. Suddenly we were standing on a cliff. One of them tied my wrists and ankles together. The one holding me threw me on the ground.

I looked up at them. "What do you want!!!!" One stood over me and smiled. "Nothing much. All we want is your little prince."

I tried moving my ankles. "Well your not going to get him!!!" They all started to laugh. "Oh we will!! He will come for you, and when he comes...." He pulled out a knife a pretended to cut his head off. "He.will.drop.dead. Then his family will be next!!!!"

My eyes widened in horror while they continued on to laugh. "But if he doesn't turn up...well...then i guess we'll start with you." I tried moving but i couldn't. One of them stepped forward with a knife as well.

I suddenly i herd a familiar voice. "Enough!!!" We all looked at who it was. Loki stood at the edge of the forrest. "Let her go!!!" They all smiled. "Let her go? Ha, no."

He squinted his eyes. "What do you want? I'll give you anything!!! Just let her go!!!"

"We want you, Tiny prince of Asgard." He stepped forward. "Why?" "So we can just kill you and your family so we can take Asgard." He scoffed. "Drop dead."

One of them picked me up and pulled me towards the edge of the cliff. I screamed and looked down. It was a long way down and at the bottom the wild waves of the ocean were crashing against the rocks.

Loki stepped forward. "Ok!!!!" They all froze. "Lets make a deal here!!" One laughed. "We don't want to make a deal. We just want Asgard."

I could see he was starting to sweat. "Ok but...how about...i'll take you to Odin, where you can sort this out with him. Or...or...you-." The giant rolled his eyes. "Your boring me. This is not whats supposed to happen. Lets make this more exciting."

He flicked his wrist at the other giant holding me. He smiled and pushed me backwards off the cliff.

All i remember seeing is Loki starting to scream and run forward. I hit the water and started to quickly sink down into the darkness of the ocean. I tried to swim but it was hard because of my tied up wrists and ankles.

I closed my eyes and just let go.

'This is it. This is the part when Loki can't save me and i slowly die.'

I stopped trying to hold my breath. All i remember was two arms wrapping around me and pulling me up slowly.

I felt something wet against my lips. I opened my eyes and saw Loki leaning over me.

He had his hands holding my mouth open as he blew air into it. I wish i could stay like that forever but i felt something coming up. I pushed him off me and rolled over, coughing up water.
