Okay. Quick a/n. I completely forgot to update this week because I was busy watching anime. So, this is going to be a quick and sorta rushed chappie. Okie. I'm done. BAI!

Your pov
Hottttttt. It's so hottttt. I pouted mentally. It's midnight and I feel like I'm suffering from insomnia. Why? Ask these two.

Gon and Killua were sleeping on opposite sides of me on the bed. Each had one arm wrapped around my waist or stomach and it made the situation even worse.

Normally, I'd find it adorable.

Buttttttttt this time is an exception.

It's about 100 degrees outside and I'm being suffocated by two adorable boys. I wanna move to get to the window, but if I move, I might wake them up.

Damn. If they weren't so goddamn adorable, I'd be enjoying the cool breeze outside.

Just thinking of the thought made me sweat even more.

SCREW IT. I'M NOT DYING YET.

I leapt out of the bed and the boys' grips. I made it to the window and jumped up to the rooftop.

"FRESH AIR!!!" I screamed from the roof. I could care less about waking someone up. I survived a near-death-experience right now.

"Y/n??" A familiar voice asked sleepily from the floor below.

I peeked my head over the side of the building and looked at the person below.

"Kurapika!" I smiled. He blushed and chuckled a little.

"It's the middle of the night. Why are you screaming?" He asked while smiling sleepily.

"I was sweaty because Gon and Killua were suffocating me in this heat." I replied with a disgusted expression from the memory.

Kurapika laughed again. This time, a little softer. As if he were getting sleepy. "You should tell them you know. They'd be happy to do something about it for you." "Especially Killua." Kurapika mumbled. I giggled.

"I don't wanna be a bother. Besides, they just want to be noticed by their awesome senpai." I said proudly, adding in a small hair flip.

Kurapika just stared at me. It looked as if he were trying to hold his laughter in.

I looked away and stared up into the sky.

"The stars are really pretty tonight." I mumbled.

"Hm?" Kurapika hummed in question.

"Nothing. Anyways, go to sleep. I'm gonna enjoy the cold air before having to be suffocated once again." I replied in a rushed tone.

One thing I learned as an assassin that stuck with me was that you can't let even your closest friends see you at your weakest.

"Okay. Goodnight y/n." Kurapika yawned.

"Night."

I stared back up at the sky.

"What's it like up there mom?" I chuckled. Mother died when I was born. When dad wasn't drunk, he told me stories about how beautiful and perfect she was.

"Oi." An annoying voice shouted and ripped me out of my thoughts.

It's Kil.

"What." I replied shifting a little to see a white haired, blue eye boy stare at me.

"It's late. Why aren't you in bed?" Killua asked me. I sighed. I didn't want to repeat this whollleeeeeee thing again. But I had to.

You told Killua what happened. I'm just too lazy to write it for the third time.

"Oh. Sorry." Killua blushed.

"Nah. It's fine. I like it up here anyways." I told him. Killua's eyes looked genuinely concerned.

"I'm never gonna win you over if I'm that clingy." Killua pouted.

Wait what.

He pouted?!?!?

It was adorable. I laughed and smacked his head lightly. "It wasn't gonna happen in the first place." I smiled.

Killua smiled back and took a seat next to me.

His fingers tangled in mine but he looked away to hide his cherry face.

Then a terrifying question popped into my head.

"Hey... Killua." I said while showing obvious concern.

"What is it?" Killua asked as he looked at me. His blush faded from the concern in my shaky voice.

"How many..." I began.

"How many what?"

"How many people have you killed?"

Silence

"I'm not sure. What I can tell you is that it was a lot."

"Oh..."

I've been an assassin for as long as I can remember. I've caused countless deaths and more heartbreaks from the loss of a loved one.

I stood up, releasing my hand from Killua's.

"Welp. I'm gonna go back to sleep." I said as I stretched my arms out above my head.

"Oh... Yeah." Killua said confused but happy.

We snuck back into our hotel room through the window and left it open for... reasons.

I laid back on the bed right next to Gon and Killua followed. Shortly after.

"Hey y/n." Killua asked out of nowhere.

"Yeah?"

I turned around to face Killua. He smirked seductively (// slapped. Crucify me in the comments. This was unholy to write. XD) then, he leaned into my ear.

"I'm not going to lose against Gon and Kurapika. I'm going to make sure I win and you become mine."

I blushed and hid my face in his shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah. Love you too." I mumbled with both a blush and smile glued onto my face.
