Annie's P.O.V.

Rachel doesn't talk much ever. I've been babysitting her for over a year and she almost never speaks. She's a very beautiful girl. She's got medium length blond hair and gorgous brown eyes. She loves to wear dresses and she doesn't have any friends. Melanie is the oppisite. She has long wavy brown hair and green eyes. She loves denim more than anything and somehow she has quite a few friends. Abby, Belle, Katrena, Catlyn, Callie. She has too many friends espeally for a two year old. But the girls are so different to I hope they can at least try to get along.

#### Rachel's P.O.V. ####

Where are we? Did she find out about me and my family? Is she going to hurt me? A lady opened the door. Same lady from earlier. I don't think she noticed me. Thank goodness. "Come on Rachel." Annie said. I looked at the woman. She looked mean. She sighed and I heard her say "I will be drinking a lot tonight." Annie couldn't hear her but I could. I heard crying from up the stairs. I pointed up to show that that's where I'm going. I walked to the room the crying came from and knocked on the door. It stopped very quickly. "OPEN!" I opened the door and she looked disappointed like there was somebody else she was hoping would walk through the doors except me. "Hi I'm Rachel." I introduced myself. This was special I never introduce myself. "Melanie." She said holding out her hand. I looked at her confused. "You shake hands." She said. "Like this." She got up and reached for my hand. I pulled back. Everyone in my family is cold and I don't want to risk her finding out. "Look Mel are you alright?" She looked at me confused. "Mel?" She asked. "Yeah I mean I thought because your name is Melanie your nickname is Mel." She was looking at me like I had grown three heads. "Your nickname?" She asked me. "Rach. You can call me that if you want to." "Your family is weird." I wanted to tear her head off. "Well you're the one who doesn't even know what a nick name is!" She looked scared. I sighed. "I'm sorry anyway you never answered the question. Are you alright?" She sighed then shook her head. "What's wrong?" I didn't want her to be sad I mean I think I might have a friend Carislie would actually like. You know if I don't tear her head off by the time I get home. "Bye Melanie!" I heard her mother say. "My daddy left." She said. Then she started crying so hard and it was really upsetting.
