Chapter 9

I got up from my bed after my Mum left for some coffee, I headed towards the bathroom and washed my face. As I looked up in the mirror, I saw the eyes of the wolf in the mirror and screamed. I kept screaming as nurses rushed in and tried to sedate me, my mother ran in and gasped in shocked. Tears were running down my face as they sedated me and my eyelids were getting droopy, my eyes closed and I was surrounded by the dark.

I awoke to hospital food being placed in front of me, I sighed as my Mum walked back outside. I'm actually surprised she's here, she would normally be at work. I know I'm hurt and all but I broke my leg before moving here and she didn't even stay home to look after me. I heard a knock on the door and in walked Niall and I looked at my food and started eating it. it tasted bland, even like cardboard, not even worth eating.

"Tastes like shit don't it?" He asked and I nodded. "Are you ok? You didn't seem like yourself in dance?" I scoffed.

"I'm fine Niall, just that you get a boner from a girl that's not even me. I'm perfectly fine." I said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry ok you don't have to be a bitch about it."

"Whatever Niall, go and fuck her since you would rather have her than me."

"You know what I will, better than a skank who won't put out." My eyes started to tear up when he said that. His face didn't even looked sorry, I felt a tear slip and he just walked out the door. I started crying and laid on my side pushing my food away. I got up from the bed and went back to the bathroom, as I looked in the mirror. I noticed how bad I looked and shook my head, how could he say that I'm not just gonna give him myself when I don't even know him properly. I slid against the wall and cried and cried, I heard another knock on the door and quickly got back into bed before mumbling a come in. It was Zayn.

"Hey, I brought you some donuts." he said holding them up.

"Thank you."

"Yeah well hospital foods taste shit." He said smiling before handing me one. I moaned at the taste of them and he chuckled.

"You ok, you've been crying? What the fuck did Niall do?"

"Nothing Zayn, I don't really want to talk about it."

"Tell me."

"No."

"That's it." He said grabbing the rest of my donut and holding it away from me. I whined as he wouldn't give it back.

"Ok, ok. He called me a skank and said I don't put out because he got a boner in class from another girl." I said and he shook his head and mumbled calling him cuss words.

"Yeah about boners, sorry about that I couldn't help it. You looked nice up there." He said blushing.

"It's fine I didn't do it on purpose not like that stupid bitch." I commented and he started laughing handing me my donut back. I quickly ate it and I shivered getting cold.

"You cold. C'mon move over, I'll keep you warm." I nodded and he came in wrapping his arms around me and I instantly felt warmer. He felt my forehead.

"Jeez your burning up, your probably getting a cold or something."

"But I don't feel like I have a cold, I feel fine apart from the stinging." I mumbled and started dozing off.

"I wish you could see how I'm so much better for you." I heard him say before I could say anything I felt asleep.

~Dream~

As I walked through the forest, I saw Zayn and he smiled holding his hand out towards me. I ran towards him before I could reach something black grabbed him I knew it was the wolf and screamed and cried out for Zayn's name. I suddenly felt different and I looked at my feet to be met with furry paws. I was one of them, the wolf didn't look scary and I still back peddled. As I walked one more time, I fell into a pit of darkness.

~Dream ends~

I was awoken by Zayn shaking me awake.

"Hey, you were screaming my name and you were crying. " I cuddled him and kept mumbling about the wolf. Zayn kept shushing me and I was surprised he was still here.

"I keep having these dreams Zayn,first about Niall and you all and now this wolf."

"What does it look like?"

"It's just black as Night, like you wouldn't want to meet it alone." I mumbled.

"Don't worry I'm here for you no matter what being in this place would drive anyone crazy."

"What time is it?"

"Nearly seven." I nodded knowing I'll be able to go home in a few hours.

"I'll be going home soon." I stated smiling.

"I'll come with you if you want and keep you company."

"Yeah that would be good, I have to be home for a few days."

"Good I'll have them days off then."

"No you can't do that. I can't let you do that." I replied.

"Rose just because Niall calls you things and makes you feel low, doesn't mean you are." He stated and I shrugged my shoulders.

"If he says them and doesn't feel guilty or anything it must be true." I stated.

"No it's not and I'm going kick his freaking head in." I giggled.
