CHAPTER TWO
*Von’s POV*
It’s 9:45 in the morning and History class was so God damn boring not to mention there were only a few students in our room since a lot of students didn’t go to school, I guess they were too excited of tonight’s event mostly the girls and some of my new found friends. The only person that was in the room that I knew was Jamie, well I don’t really know the guy I just know his name.
Jamie Fitz, this guy is super annoying, always wants to get noticed by the entire class, well it worked but not like the way he wanted it to. People tend to get annoyed mostly by him, not to mention he has this afro, I mean that is so 80’s man. The only time I talked to this guy was when we were group together for cleaning activities.
Well not like I don’t want to participate it’s just that I don’t like to clean things, instead I would just sneak out and go to Matt’s room since cleaning activities are all scheduled at 3:00 so I would just march myself into Matt’s room with my broom still in hand and hang out.
“I wonder where Matt and Zam are. I haven’t seen them since this morning” I said to myself while rocking my chair. I haven’t notice that our History teacher was looking at me, when I finally noticed he looked at me with a deathly stare. “What?” I snap “Sit properly Mr.Wilder” Mr. Lucas commanded. I shrugged my shoulder in defeat and sat down properly. “Pffft. Teachers, always think they’re the boss” I said to myself.
School ended early today since the teachers told us we can have the whole afternoon to prepare for tonight’s event. As I was walked outside of school I happen to see Jamie went inside on the internet café where we usuallY play Dota with friends. Out of curiosity I wanted to follow him but as I was going to my stomach started growling, then I remembered I haven’t ate breakfast this morning because I was going to be late if I hadn’t skipped breakfast.
I decided to continue walking down the road so I can ride a cab home. When I arrived at home nobody was around since it was still noon and usually my parent’s would be home by evening, so I brought my things to my room and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. After that I washed the dishes since our maid wasn’t around.
I sat down at our living room and decided to watch tv since I had nothing else to do and I didn’t feel like playing computer games. The movie Treasure Planet was on and since it was one of my favorite movies when I was in elementary I enjoyed myself watching it.
Half way through the movie I felt kinda thirsty so went to the kitchen to get something to drink. “You’re home early” someone said from behind. “Holy Shit!” I shouted. It was my Dad, not surprised he was laughing because of my stupid reaction
“God Damn it don’t do that” I said angrily.
He continued laughing and then asked me again why was I home early. I said to him that school ended early today because the teachers gave us the whole afternoon to prepare for tonight’s event. After that there was a moment of silence.
“So are you excited for tonight?” Dad said breaking the silence.
“Yeah, I guess so” I answered.
“ What time will you go there?” He added.
“I think around 6:30, since the event starts at 7”
He just nodded and went inside their room, “By the way I’ll give you a ride to your school” He shouted inside their room. I didn’t answer him instead I went to my room and decided to have a quick snooze so that I wouldn’t run out of energy for tonight.
*Matt’s POV*
Hmmm.., Should I buy this one? Or this one? Damn it! I put the clothes back since I didn’t know which one to buy, “I thought shopping was easy, tonight’s the event and I don’t have anything to wear yet, why does mother make it looks like it’s so easy when she buys clothes?” I said to myself, “Guess I have no choice” I took my phone out of my pocket and texted my mother.
