Avi found that his wanting to visit Brazil had grown over the years of being in Pentatonix. He's always been begged by fans from Brazil to visit and he's always hated seeing his fans be let down. It would be another tour he couldn't see his Brazilian fans in.
It wasn't until Scott & Mitch spoke up at wanting to go to Brazil on SUPERFRUIT that the group's recording company gifted them all the chance to visit. The company stated that it was a way to help the group relax and write music peacefully.
Avi was more than ecstatic to go, even though if the group did decide to visit, they had to do some commercializing while down there. But Avi couldn't care less. He could sit through a thousand interviews without having to answer any questions because Scott is the one who typically answers the same questions, over and over.
Avi and the group decided to take the chance to go visit Brazil. Mainly because they felt bad for Avi and their fans.
