Today was just any normal day for you. Well, that's what you thought. Your boyfriends birthday was today and you had no clue as to what to get him. You tried everything that came to mind, but none of your ideas seemed good enough.
You were walking through town, looking in different stores, until someone caught your eye. It was your boyfriend and his friends. You walked into the closest clothing store and rushed to the back, peeking through a clothes rack to make sure they walked by the store, but they didn't. They came right into the store you were in. You avoided them and finally made it back outside, walking the way they had come from. You felt eyes on you, so you glanced back to see Namjoon looking at you, apparently he hadn't went inside with them. You slightly waved and ran off to another store, walking in smoothly as you scanned some music making gear. Your boyfriend enjoyed making beats with his mouth, so you found a beat maker, kinda like a Dubstep pad, but better. You grabbed it and looked around for some nice headphones and speakers. After you found those, you paid for them and left, only to be faced with Namjoon again."What are you doing?" He asked calmly.
"Just looking for something."
"Found what you were looking for?"
"Kinda of. It's not the best, but it's all I could think of. Does Hobi know I'm out?"
"No. I didn't tell the guys I saw you. I knew the reason why you were out. What did you get?"
"Nothing much. You'll see later."
"Hobi thinks your ignoring him. He thinks your out with Kai Again."
I stopped walking and turned around to look at Namjoon.
"He thinks I'm cheating on him?"
"In a way I guess. He always complains about how close you are with Kai. He doesn't like you being around him so much. Makes him jealous."
"Hobi knows I-"
"Hobi knows what?"~
I looked behind Namjoon and saw Yoongi, jungkook and Hobi.
"Oh, um, nothing. I have to go. I'll see y'all later I guess."
I walked away and stopped abruptly when I heard him say the words that could tear someone's heart in half.
"Why are you leaving so quickly? Can't even talk to your own boyfriend? That's cool, go to your newly improved lover. That's all you care about nowadays anyways." Hoseok said coldly.
I took a deep breath and continued walking, not wanting to start a fight with him in the middle of town. I felt his eyes shoot daggers into my back. I turned the corner and caught a brief glimpse of Hoseok being comforted by his friends. As I continued walking I began to get hit by realization that Hoseok and I might no longer be together anymore.
It was now growing dark and I began to feel the tears slip from my eyes. I sat down under a covered bus station, placing the bad next to me. It began to pour rain as I watched cars pass by. The rain and my tears getting heavier as each car drove by.~Hoseoks POV~
"Happy birthday!" All of my friends shouted together.
I smiled as I blew out the candles and looked around, feeling my heart drop even more by not seeing her Beautiful face. What if she really is cheating on me? I didn't mean what I had said, but I felt like it was actually true, being that it's been hours and she still isn't back home to me.
I looked at Namjoon just as he looked towards my direction. We made brief eye contact and I guess he sensed the pain in my eyes, because he got up and told me to follow him, so I did."She's not cheating on you. She was in town all day trying to find the perfect present for you. That's why she's been avoiding you. She loves you... More than you'd ever know."
"How come she's not home?"
"She's probably upset and staying with a friend right now."
"Can we look for her please? What if she's out in the cold crying somewhere?"
"Let's go, we will look for her."
~Back to Yo POV~
It was now one in the morning. The next bus doesn't come until 1:30. I was desperately trying to get home to Hoseok so i could explain myself to him, hoping he'd understand why ive been distant lately, but apparently the world was against me today. Doesn't surprise me much anyways. Seems everyone hates me.
I got up and began walking home. It wasn't raining as hard as it was an hour ago, so it didn't really matter if I got wet or not. My house was only about a thirty minute walk from here anyways.~Hoseoks POV~
Namjoon and I got in the car and drove back towards town, looking for (y/n). I'll admit I was pretty upset, but for the most part, I'm glad to know the truth. I just wish I would've known earlier.
I glanced around the empty streets when I saw a long (h/c) haired girl walking. Her head was hung low so I couldn't see her face, but I knew it had to be my girl. Namjoon stopped the car, both of us getting out. I walked up to her, but she kept walking.~Your POV~
I kept my head low, walking as fast as possible. I didn't want to talk to anyone right now. I just wanted to get home and relax. I wanted to figure out how to apologize to Hoseok, but nothing came to mind.
I saw headlights coming down the street, but I payed them no mind until the car stopped and these two guys got out, walking up to me. I didn't dare look up, so I kept walking.
I finally saw my house in view, thank god."(Y/N)."
I stopped walking and turned around, face to face with my boyfriend. I took a deep breath and turned away from him. I couldn't let him see me like this. I was a mess. An emotional mess, but he still pleaded for me to turn around and look him in the eyes. So I did.
"I'm so-"
"Please don't apologize. I'm the one sorry. Namjoon told me what you were doing. I jumped to conclusions, and hurt your feelings. I should've known better than to thin you'd do this to me. I was an idiot to think you didn't love me and that you liked Kai more."
"Hoseok..."
"Yes?"
"Kai's my brother.... And he's gay."
Hoseok's eyes widened, tears filling them.
"Don't cry, you didn't know. I should've told you. I love you and happy birthday."
I handed him the bag. He smiled and hugged me tightly, burying his head In My neck.
"I love you (y/n) and I'm so sorry."
"It's fine. Now can we go home?"
"Yes, we can go home."
