Jealousy,Love and Hope

The very beginning (1)

It was the start of the grade 8 school year, Kayla was very excited to see her crush Connor, she hadn't seen him all summer! Kayla met up with her best friend Ava before school.They started talking about how Kayla was going to ask out Connor but as Ava was about to say something Kayla cut her off by saying "we should probably get going or we're going to be late!" They walked to school together which wasn't very far but it had a big hill, Kayla started up a conversation again about how she was also not very excited to go to school because her friend Annabeth also liked Connor! Ava started telling Kayla that "she doesn't want to get in between us" They finally got to school and saw Charlie,she dyed her hair dark blue over the summer and grew it down to her knees. Kayla and Ava walked over to Charlie and she was talking to some guy. Kayla and Ava looked at each other because they haven't seen that person before,as they got closer they realized it was just Mitchell. They all started talking about how their summers were and Kayla looked around to see if Connor was here yet and he was but he was with Annabeth. This made Kayla so upset and a bit mad because she told Annabeth that she liked him,then she turns around and flirts with him.Kayla decided to ignore it because it was the first day back and she didn't want to start drama already.

The bell rang and everyone went inside. Ava and Kayla were the first ones in the class room,they saw that there were assigned seats,the seats were in pairs which they thought was a little silly in grade 8 but they found their desks and waited for everyone else to arrive.Kayla didn't see who sat beside her because she was talking to her friend Charlie who sat to her left then Kayla felt someone beside her and she realized it was Connor! Kayla didn't know what to do,she said "hey" and Connor started asking how her summer was,then the teacher came in,the classroom got quite and she introduced herself then she had them do this activity where they talk to the person beside them and ask them some questions to get to know them. Kayla was even more excited but then she wasn't when she heard a voice from the back saying "Mrs.S, I don't have a partner" then Kayla knew what was coming next. Mrs.S said "Annabeth you can join........ah Kayla and Connor" Kayla was a bit worried that Annabeth would try and make Connor focus on herself then what we had to do in class. After the really annoying and kinda awkward activity.

They went to French.Kayla looked and saw that there were assigned seats again,but she also realized she was sitting beside Jennie. Kayla and Jennie used to be best friends

Kayla:hey

Jennie:I don't want to talk to you

Kayla: What did I do?

Jennie: You know exactly what you did!

Kayla: Actually I don't.Can you just tell me what I "did"

Jennie: You said that you wish Ally was dead! I can't believe you would say that

Kayla: I'm a little bit upset that you would think that I would say that to someone! I would never say that to ANYONE! Even if I was mad and you know that, you have to believe me Jennie! Please

Jennie: OMG, I'm tired of you lying to me! Just don't talk to me ever again! I HATE YOU!

Kayla: Fine then if your going to be like that then I don't think that we should be friends anymore!

Jennie: I regret ever becoming friends with you!
