Kayla woke up to the lingering smell of bacon and eggs. Kayla got out of bed went to the washroom and grabbed a quick shower. When she was done she got dressed into a pair of skinny jeans a black sweater and a shirt that said "Smile More" Kayla walked down the stairs and as she was walking she heard the sweet smell of bacon sizzling.Kayla walked into the beautiful kitchen area again and saw that Kai was making breakfast. Kai turned around and said "Good morning! How was your sleep?" Kayla said "It was amazing, I haven't sleep that good in forever!" *they both started laughing* Kai then said "Do you like bacon and eggs?" Kayla immediately responded with "Of course I do! Who doesn't!" Kayla turned around to the sound of someone else's laugh. It was kiley! She said "Good morning to Kai and Kayla." They all ate there breakfast. Kayla went upstairs to brush her teeth. When she was done she decided to check her phone. ~26 missed calls and 59 texts from Ava, 23 missed calls and 25 texts from Charlie, 16 missed calls and 25 texts from Kat, 20 missed calls and 35 texts from Mitchell and 45 missed calls and 105 texts from Connor. Kayla was a little upset because there was no calls or texts from her parents. Kayla then heard a knock on the door she said "come in." It was kiley. She said "I have a favour to ask. Will you go downtown and get the stuff in this list." *Kiley hands Kayla a list and $100* Kayla then says "Of course I will! It's the least I could do." Kiley then said "okay thanks" and left the room. Kayla got her phone, the list and money then left. As she was walking she decided she would call her friends and Connor back.Kayla called all of her friends to tell them she's okay. They all asked her where she is and Kayla said "It doesn't matter where I am just as long as I'm safe." They didn't argue with Kayla they where just so relieved that she's okay.

As Kayla was walking she bumped into someone. She looked up and saw it was nurse Ella who helped her when she was in her coma.

*Flashback to after Kayla woke up from her coma*

~Kayla rings the help button~
Nurse Ella comes running in thinking something is wrong but when she got into the room everything was fine.

Ella: Sweetheart, you can't just ring me in here when you don't need help.

Kayla: But I do need help. I need someone to talk to.

Ella: *looks at clock* Listen I get off if 15 minutes can you wait that long?

Kayla: Yes!

Ella: Okay great!

*15 minutes later*

Ella: I'm done. What did you want to talk about?

Kayla: Well there's a lot.

Kayla went on and on about how she wasn't happy at home, how she just wishes that her parents didn't fight and how she wishes that her mom didn't drink so much.

*End of Flashback*

Ella then said "Kayla, how have you been? Kayla then said "Not to good.Ella then asked if it was her parents and Kayla said yes. Ella said "It sounds like you have a lot to talk about so let's go and get some ice-cream my treat!"

Ella and Kayla talked for what felt like hours but was only like 10 minutes. Ella was shocked that Kayla ran away from home. Ella then gave Kayla her phone number so they could call each other whenever they want.

Kayla got what she needed from downtown and went back to Kiley and Kai's place.
