One Year Ago

The storm was very intense and angry which wasn't that normal in Rochester, but it was late in the year so Gabbie didn't think much of it. Gabbie had invited all of her friends to a party in her cabin, they were going to sit and drink on the beach and maybe even swim if they felt like it, but because of the rainstorm that obviously wasn't an option so instead they decided to sit inside and drink.

Jessi and Shane were cuddled up on the couch talking about what they were going to wear to Jessi's cousin's wedding while Dylan was third wheeling them, Sky and Joey were making out in a corner as per usual, Kelly and David were drinking by the kitchen counter, and Mark and Nick were just hanging around. It was just a normal party.

"So I was thinking that if I wear the navy dress, you could wear that bright red suit that I got you last year paired up with a black tie." Jessi suggested to Shane.

"Sure, sounds great." Shane responded with a smile before kissing Jessi on her forehead. Dylan rolled his eyes.

"Oh, and then we could all wear pins with numbered wheels on them and I can be the third wheel." Dylan exclaimed sarcastically. Shane patted him on the shoulder.

"Come on, Dylan, don't say that! You won't be a third wheel." Shane reassured him.

"Sure." Dylan sighed.

David downed a shot of whiskey, while Kelly was drinking slowly.

"Maybe you should slow down, David." Kelly adviced him concernedly.

"Come on! It's a party! What, you can't handle a little fun?" He scoffed at her.

"Fine, but I'm not helping you to the nearest toilet if you start puking. That's all on you." Kelly said with smirk.

"What's that? Aim for your face if I feel like barfing? Sure thing!"

"Bite me." Kelly groaned.

Mark and Nick stood by the hallway and looked over the party.

"So, Joey is pretty hot, right?" Mark asked Nick while staring at Joey across the room who was making out with Sky. Nick looked at Mark wide-eyed.

"Uhm, he has a boyfriend, Mark. I don't think of him like that." Nick responded quietly. Mark rolled his eyes at Nick's answer.

"Come on. You tellin' me you've never even thought about it?" Mark asked with a groan.

"No, but-" Nick started.

"Exactly! You have thought about it. He has a really nice ass, right?" Mark asked him while biting his bottom lip.

"Yeah, I guess."

Gabbie walked up to them.

"So, what are you guys talking about?" Gabbie asked Mark and Nick curiously.

"Men, and butts." Mark answered. Gabbie smiled.

"I hope those butts belong to David and Dylan, because every other guy in here is taken, well besides you guys, obviously." Gabbie rubbed in Mark's face. Mark sighed.

"Well, I'm heading out to get some more beer! See you guys in a bit." Gabbie announced before walking out the door. Mark turned to Nick.

"Do you know where the bathroom is?" Mark asked while slightly jumping up and down.

"Yeah, right next to the kitchen." Nick helpfully responded.

"Next to the kitchen? Glad I don't need to eat here." Mark laughed before leaving the room.

Joey playfully squeezed Sky's ass while making out with him causing Sky to giggle into his mouth. Sky grabbed Joey by his legs and lifted him up so that his legs were wrapped around his waist. Joey seperated his lips from Sky's.

"Why are we even here?" Joey asked Sky confused.

"Well, why not? It's a party, and it's pretty fun so far." Sky answered with a smirk.

"Yeah, but did it have to be Gabbie's party? I mean the only reason I'm even in her friend group is because you and Nick are a part of it." Joey said with a sigh.

"Come on, Joey. Just forget about that bitch and live in the now. We have about 3 minutes left to enjoy this party before she comes back with more beer." Sky reassured him. Joey smiled and started kissing Sky again.

Gabbie stumbled down towards the lake to get the beer in the rainstorm, she bent down in front of the lake and grabbed four very wet packs of beer. She started standing up when suddenly a strong hand grabbed the back of her head and forced her head down into the water. She tried to get her head out of the water to breath, but the hand was too strong and kept her under it. She tried pushing the hand away, but that wasn't working either. At that moment Gabbie realized she was going to die; There was no way she was getting out of it. After a few more moments Gabbie stopped struggling, and a few moments after that she stopped breathing. The hand slowly let go of her head and left her there.
