"What's wrong, Pete?"

Your frown sunk deeper as he walked passed you and over to his luggage on top of his bus bunk. He opened it and took out a blue flannel. He held it up to you. "Should I wear this over my black tank or no? It might get pretty hot..."

You grabbed the piece of clothing and set it down on the mattress. "You're avoiding my question, Peter. You've been quiet all day. There's obviously something wrong." You checked your watch that your brother got you for your 15th birthday. "You have 20 minutes before you're needed at the venue. That's plenty of time to tell me what's bothering you."

Pete groaned when you said Peter. He obviously preferred the shortened version of it. He knew that when you started calling him that, you were going to get your way no matter what.

"Okay fine." Pete zipped up the luggage again and faced you. "I'm still not over what happened yesterday with you and Brendon. I guess I'm still pretty shocked."

Your face began to get hot.

"Are you happy now?"

You nodded. "Yeah. I'm sorry for bothering you."

"Don't be." Pete replied. "It's my fault for being a butt the entire day." He took a deep breath. "It's just that I promised Mom that I would look after you and..."

Tears pooled into your eyes. "You don't have to finish. I understand."

"I guess I'm just really overprotective sometimes."

You pulled your brother in for a tight hug. "That's what makes you the best big brother in the world though!"

He laughed a little. "Thanks, (Y/N)."

After the hug was over, Pete's phone buzzed. "We should start heading over. Patrick just texted me. They're waiting for us."

A huge smile appeared on your face. By "they", Patrick meant the opening band too. Brendon!

You grabbed his hand. "You don't need the flannel. Let's go! We have to go!"

Pete nearly fell over as you ran off the bus. "Okay. Just please calm down!"
~
"Oh my gosh! Are we there yet?"

Pete sighed as he pointed at a building. "Yes! We're finally here! Look!"

As the two of you got closer, you noticed a figure in a white short sleeve shirt waiting by the backdoor.

"Is that?"

Pete smiled at you. "Yep. What are you waiting for? Attack him!"

You took a few deep breaths before facing your brother again. "How does my hair look?"

He laughed. "It looks like you just crawled out of a dumpster. Go!" He playfully pushed you towards the man.

"Brendon!" You screeched as you pounced on him.

The two of you fell down and laughed. "How's my baby girl doing?" Brendon asked as he kissed your forehead and helped you up.

You blushed. "I'm great! I was waiting to see you all day long! I nearly died when Pete told me it was time to go!"

Before he could respond, the bassist, Dallon, opened the backdoor. "Can you two stop making out and come inside? The show starts soon!"

"We'll be there in a second." Brendon told him before picking you up and carrying you over to the door.
~
"Alright, Panic!" one of the security guards yelled backstage. "You're up!"

Brendon grabbed his guitar. You stood up from your chair.

"You're going to do great, Bren!" You gave him a quick kiss. "Have fun."

"I'll be back here before you know it, baby."

After the band left, Patrick leaned over to Pete.

"Didn't Brendon and (Y/N) just meet yesterday? Are they dating?"

Pete nodded. "Yes and I don't know."

"They seem really in love. It's kind of cute."

"You should've seen them yesterday on our bus."
~
After the concert was over, you walked out of the building holding hands with Brendon. Fall Out Boy was walking behind you two. They saw you and Brendon whispering to each other and laughing.

"What do you think they're saying?" Andy asked.

"They're teenagers." Joe replied. "Probably really crazy mushy love stuff."

"Can we talk about something besides my sister and him?" Pete asked. "It's kind of weird."

They started to talk about how the show went.

When you all got back to the buses, you let go of Brendon's hand and ran over to the band.

"Hey guys! Pete, can I stay on Brendon's bus tonight?"

"Can't help you with this one Pete." Patrick laughed as the other three headed to their bus.

"I ship it." Andy whispered in your brother's ear.

"Sure." Pete told you. "Just no doing the do! You're still too young!'

Your face began to grow a little bit red. "No! No! That's not happening!" you told Pete. "Thanks for letting me go."

"One more thing, (Y/N)."

You spun around. "Yeah, Pete?"

"You might want to change your Tumblr password. I think Andy was on your account last night."
