Jackie's POV
I am currently at my brother's soccer game. It just started and it is freezing out today. I have a warm blanket wrapped around me. I suddenly felt warm arms around my neck. I looked up to see it was Liam.
"Hey Li." I greeted him schooching over so he could have some room
"Hey Jac, how was your day?" he asked
"Eh it was ok. I'm really tired though. How was yours?"
"It was good we had tour rehearsals all day so I'm pretty tired too."
"Li you didn't have to come if you were busy. Andrew would have understood."
"No it's ok I wanted to come. It's good to get a break every once in a while." he said smiling
"Oh gosh here take some of this blanket. You must be freezing." I said throwing some of the blanket over him.
The rest of the game Liam and I just talked and my parents invited him over for dinner. Andrew's team ended up winning in overtime and he got the mvp ball. We are now back at my house sitting around the dinner table.
"So Li this is a stadium tour correct?" my mom asked him
"Yupp. We get to play in all the football and soccer stadiums. It is such an honor." he said smiling wide
"Well that sounds very exciting. And you leave in a little over a week?"
"Yes I do."
"Jackie have you discussed with Liam when you will be visitng him?" my dad asked me
"Well I have midterms next week and then I said spring break and a couple times during the summer." I said looking over at a smiling Liam
"Yeah that sounds good. Are you preparing for midterms this week at school?" my mom asked
"Yes we are. It is such a boring week." I said rolling my eyes
"I know I have been falling asleep in every one of my classes!" Andrew said laughing
"Oh Andrew please try and pay attention." my mom said shaking her head
"Oh by the way my parents said they want to get together for dinner with you guys." Liam said
"Oh great! I'll call Karen tomorrow to set it up! Thanks Li!" my mom said
After dinner I helped my mom with dishes while the boys watched tv. My mom went upstairs to finish some laundry and my dad went upstairs to take a shower. Andrew said he had to finish homework so it was just Liam and I.
"So I am throwing a birthday party for Sophia on Saturday and I would love for you to come." he said
"Um yeah sure I'll see if I'm available. Alx can come too right?"
"Yeah of course. Are you ok you have seemed off lately?" he asked concerned
"Yeah I'm fine I"m just tired. I swear." I said looking at Liam. Maybe I should just tell him the truth.
"Actually Li-" but I am cut off my his phone ringing.
"Sorry Jac this will only take a minute" he said getting up and excusing himself. I sat back and watched tv while I was waiting for him to come back. He finally did ten minutes later.
"Sorry that was Sophia and I"ve got to run. What were you going to say?" as he grabbed his coat
"Um it's nothing important." I said shrugging my shoulders
"Ok only if you are sure. I'll text you later. See you Saturday!" he said kissing my cheek before leaving
Once again I always come second to Sophia.
Today at school sucked but thank God it is friday. All the popular girls pushed me so hard into a locker that my stomach is badly bruised. I can hardly walk but I have to pretend like I can. I am going over Alx's house tonight since I promised him I would. My mom and dad went out with Mr. and Mrs. Payne tonight and Andrew has a date so nobody is home.
I quickly grabbed a shower and blow dried my hair. I decided on leaving it in it's natural curls and not putting on any makeup except for some cover up. I looked down at my stomach and my ribs and stomach feel and look badly bruised. I threw on a pair of light grey yoga sweatpants, a gold and white stripped muslce top, and black flip flops. I grabbed my phone and keys and made my to Alx's house. I got there within seven minutes and I parked my car and limped up and rang the doorbell.
"Hey Jackie! You look comfy!" Alx said bringing me into a hug. I yelped in pain.
"What's the matter?" he asked concerned looking at me gripping my stomach
"Oh nothing. I just tripped this morning. No biggie." I said smiling
"Ok so what food? Chinease takeout or pizza?" he asked smirking
"Chinease takeout. Obviously." I said laughing and sitting down
"Haha how would I know?" he asked sitting down next to me
"Ok so I set up the Kardashians. Are you ready?" he asked getting all serious
"Hit play." I said laughing and sitting criss cross applesauce.
2 hours later
"I can't believe we just watched two seasons of them. I feel like I just lost brain cells." I said laughing
"Me too. But I love making fun of their stupid comments. Ice Cream?" he asked getting up
"Yes please! Do you have brownie batter by any chance?"
"Of course you know that is my second favorite!" he said laughing handing me a bowel and a spoon
"So what time does the party start tomorrow?" he asked
"Um eight. And you have to wear a suit and tie because it is really fancy. He only wants the best for Sophia." I said making a gagging face
"Jac why havn't you told him yet? You are running out of chances." he said giving me a look
"Don't give me that look. Don't you think I know that? I almost did monday night but she called and he had to go."
"Well you got to be more assertive and sassy."
"Like your one vine? Teach me how to be ratchet." I said making fun of him and laughing
"Hey you got that pretty down pact." he said laughing. I rolled my eyes and got up and put my bowel in the dishwasher. I leaned over and yelped because I am in so much pain.
"Alright that's it. I am not believing you tripped! Lift up your shirt right now." Alx said standing in front of me
"Alx please don't do this." I said crying now. I sighed and lifted up my shirt to reveal my bruises.He immediatly pulled me into a big hug.
"Jac what happened?" he asked wiping away me tears
"Girls at school today pushed me into a locker really hard. I hit the locker and fell to the floor."
"Jac has all this been happening since the begining of the year?" I just nodded my head yes.
"Look this has to stop or it is going to get worse. And we need to take you to the hospital because you are really hurt." he said picking me up bridal style and putting me in the car and driving off.
"Wait why are we at my house?" I asked confused as he hopped out of the car and ran inside. Three minutes later my parents came running outside and hopped into the car.
"Jackie I knew something was going on. Why didn't you tell us?" my mom asked lifting up my shirt
"Oh my God Luke look at this. You need to call that school! She is not going back there." my mom said cradling me and rocking me back and forth as I cried
WE arrived at the hospital and they took me to the emergency room.
