Jackie's POV
Liam left a couple days ago to go back on tour and I miss him a lot. But we text all the time and call each other. I just got out of school and I am meeting Alx at the mall. He needs helping picking out an outfit for his date tonight.
"Hey boo." I herd him say from behind
"Hey buddy." I greeted him giving him a hug
"I miss my best friend you know that?" he asks dragging me into the first store he sees
"I know I miss you too. So how have you been?" I asked already picking out clothes for him
"Really good. I have a couple commercials set up nothing big though. Your photoshoot spread was amazing." he gushed
"Thank you. I have another one with Teen Vogue this week." I replied smiling. I followed him back to the changing room so I can see what the clothes look like on him
"So what is this girl like?" I asked sitting down in a chair
"Well her name is Stacy. She is in my one acting class. She has dirty blonde hair and she wears those adorable nerd glasses that I love. She is just really down to earth and not annoying like most girls. I feel like I can be myself around her." he explained coming out in his first outfit
"I like the shirt but not the pants, next. But Alx she sounds like a great girl and I am really happy you asked her out. You need to do more things for yourself." I said picking out one more outfit for him
"Here try this one on." I said throwing it over the curtain
"So how are things with you and Liam?" he asked
"Really good. I mean we have only been dating for a couple weeks but it has been amazing. I get to see him in two weeks when I go to Miami." I explained
"I seriously can't wait until we go. I think this outfit is a keeper." he said adusting his shirt
"Me too it says I'm attractive but not in a cocky way. Get it." I instructed
After we paid Alx both bought us coffees from Starbucks.
"But seriously you guys are really good together. You mesh well." he said smirking
"Enough about me where are you taking this girl tonight?" I asked sitting down on a bench
"Out to dinner and than the little court yard. There are fireworks tonight." he explained
"How romantic. You guys should get dessert too." I suggested
"Got it. Who knew moving out to to LA would change things for us?" he asked looking out at the people
"I know. When I moved back here I thought it was just going to be like how it used to be. I never expected anything like this." I said smiling
My phone started to buzz and I looked down to see my Mom calling me.
"Hello?" I picked up
Alx's POV
Jackie and I are just sitting here enjoying ourselves when she got a phone call. She said it was her mom and she seemed really happy to talk to her. I was daydreaming about my date tonight when I herd Jackie hang up.
"Jack you don't look too good. What's the matter?" I asked grabbing her arm gently
"My mom didn't sound too good on the phone." she said stammering
"Why didn't she sound too good?" I asked confused
"Alx there's been an accident." she told me as both of our faces went pale
