Jackie's POV
I having been living in LA for a week now and I am loving it. I love waking up and walking to Starbucks every morning. I love going to the beach every day. I just love it here.
"Morning sunshine." my best friend ashley greeted me
"Hey how did you sleep?" I asked her finishing up my breakfast
"Pretty good. So today want to go check out that park that I was talking about the other day?" she asked
"Yeah sounds good. What is everybody else doing today?" I asked her
"Sammy has school, Alx is working, and Charity has dance rehaursals." she explained
"Alright I will be ready in a little bit!" I exclaimed running up the steps
I was wearing black flip flops, black shorts, and a grey, sleeveless button up top. I pulled my hair back into a straightened ponytail and I had my aviator sunglasses on. Ashley had her hair pulled back into a low bun and she was wearing jean ripped shorts, a white muslce top that had I heart New York written on it and her black ray bands.
We arrived at the park about a half hour later. We decided on walking around the trail for a little bit.
"So are you nervous for your big photoshoot tomorrow?" she asked nudging me
"I mean yes and no. I am just really excited I guess." I explained to her
"Well all those photographers are obsessed with your photos so you will be getting calls from everybody." she said laughing
"But tomorrow after your shoot we are all going out on the town. Alx is getting us into a party." she said all excitedly
"One of his actor friends right?" I asked she nodded her head
"That should be fun." I said looking around at the pretty scenery
"You are starting school with me right?" she asked
"Yupp we start in three weeks right? It is only two classes a week?"
"Yes only two and thank God we are taking all the same classes. Oh my gosh Jac lets go ride those paddle boats!" she exclaimed dragging me towards the water. Ashley paid the guy and we hopped in our boats and started peddling and we started moving.
"Ash I am pretty sure we are going in circles." I said laughing
"Hey don't judge me this is my first time doing this." she said smiling. We finally straightened ourselves out and we just sat in the middle of the water for a while.
"I have missed you, we all have." she said breaking the silence
"I know I have missed you guys so much. Three years was way too long. But we all promised eachother we were going to stay friends and look we did." I said high fiving her
"I know! I love how we can just be apart from eachother and pick up right where we left off."
"Well we have been best friends since the fourth grade might I add." I said giving her a hug
"Hey we should throw bread at the birds!" I exclaimed as I started throwing bread
"No Jackie! What if they come over here? You know I have a fear of birds!" she exclaimed trying to duck
"Oh you have a fear of everything. Trust me they arn't going to come too close to us." I said smirking
All of a sudden a bird came right above us and started squaking. Ashley freaked out and looked like she was going to piss herself. I start cracking up and pretty soon she is too.
"Come on lets go back. I am starving." I told her peddling back to the dock
"Well I just lost my appetite after that fiasco." she said "You said they weren't going to come that close." she added glaring at me
"Sorry I didn't think they would." I said smiling
Liam's POV
I was scrolling through instagram when I saw a picture Jsckie posted not long ago. It was of her and Ashley on one of those peddling boats. She looks like she is having a lot of fun in LA.
"Dude if you miss her that badly just call her." Harry said sitting down next to me
"It is not that easy. She hates me now remember? I was a dick to her."
"Yeah a big one mate. But it is not too late to fix it." he said
"How can I fix it? She basically told me to go fuck myself and never talk to her again." I said sighing and leaning back farther into the couch
"You guys are best friends. All best friends fight that is what makes the relationship healthy. Maybe you guys just needed a little break. But don't worry you guys will talk again soon."
"How are you so sure? It has already been a week and I miss her like crazy."
"Well you guys are attacthed at the hip. And dude to be honest everybody here has always thought you have had feelings for Jackie. You need to figure them out and go tell her how you really feel. Honestly you guys are ment to be together." he said standing up
"Wait what about Sophia?" I asked
"I think you know what you need to do about her." he said before walking away
I have a lot to think about.
