Chapter 15- Pizza

Niall's POV:

It's already 12am and I've been waiting for Alex to call me or text me back.

She's probably forgotten or fallen asleep, I don't know why I'm so sad, it's just that she promised she would.

I sigh and go into the livingroom where the lads are.

Louis motions for me to go into the kitchen with him. "You alright Niall? You've been distant all night."

Louis asks, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine." I nod and plaster a smile on.

"You don't look it."

"Well I am, so just be quiet." I snap.

Louis takes a step back, with wide eyes and his hands in a surrendering position.

"Sorry, Louis, I didn't mean to snap."

"Don't worry about it mate. Wait, is this about that girl? Erm, Alice?"

"It's Alex." I correct him, "And no Its not."I lie.

"It is!" He says and points at my face, "your face changed when I mentioned her."

"Okay, okay." I give in.

"What's she done?"

"Nothing, just hasn't rang me."

"What?" Louis laughs, "that's what this is about?"

I nod sadly, it is pretty stupid.

"So you're sad because a girl you met like a day ago hasn't rang you?"

"She promised to."

"Oh come on Niall." He says.

I shrug and we walk back into the living room and sit down on the sofa.

"Alright lads? Fancy a takeaway? I'm starving." Liam suggests.

"Sure." I say, food can distract me, and I haven't eaten since I went to the cafe with Alex.

"What does everyone want?" Liam asks.

Everyone shouts out their choice and he writes them on his hand before going to the hall to ring the pizza shop.

I tap my fingers on the arm of the chair and Liam comes back in a few minutes later.

"It'll be about 20 minutes." He says and sits down.

We all nod and think of what to talk about.

"So, Niall." Louis says, "Who's that girl who you took home from the party?" He says winking and smirking.

"It's not like that, in fact that's the complete opposite." I defend myself and Alex.

"Calm down, anyway, so who is she?"

"Her names Alex."

"Any romance going on?"

I shrug, "I don't know, she just got out of a relationship."

"So? You're Niall Horan, any girl would love to be your girlfriend."

"Well, I don't know."

"Well what happened? We haven't seen you for a full day and a half!"

"I just went shopping with her and a meal. And then went to the park."

"She isn't using you is she?"

"Not at all, I offered to take her to the cinema and she declined because she said she didn't want me to spend any more money on her, and we went to the park instead."

All the lads nod in approval.

"Sounds like a nice girl so far, can't wait to meet her."

"I can't wait for you guys to meet her either."

I get up to get some plates and cutlery from the kitchen, when I come back and put them on the table, the doorbell rings.

That'll be the pizza, I run to the door with my wallet in hand and open the door to see the delivery guy with boxes of pizza in his hands.

"How much?"

"£35.50"

I hand him 40 and tell him to keep the change. He smiles and thanks me.

"Have a nice night." I say.

"You too." He replies before walking away.

I close the door and take the pizzas to the room.

I place them down on the table and everyone hungrily digs in.

I grab a plate and place a few slices onto it.

After eating 2 I decide to check my phone if Alex has texted or rang me yet.

"I'll be back in a minute, just going to get my phone from my room."

They all nod and I go to my room and grab my phone off my bed. I unlock it to see that I have no new notifications, sighing, I put my phone into my pocket.

As Im walking out of my room the laptop screen lights up.

I tilt the screen up to look at it, someone wants to videochat me.

I don't recognise the caller ID, and after a couple seconds of hesitation,

I decide to accept it.

It connects and the screen is black, must be a dark room.

"Erm hello? Anyone there?" I ask.

The camera angle readjusts and a face comes onto the screen.

Josh.

Anger and confusion boil up inside of me.

"What do you want Josh?" I say through gritted teeth.

He doesn't reply and looks away for a second at something and then turns back to face me again laughing.

"Fine. Bye Josh." I say waving at the camera

"I wouldn't go if I were you."

"Why not?" I ask annoyed.

"Well, if you ever want to see Alex again, you're gonna have to stay."

My heart stopped.

Alex.

AN: short update, sorry but you guys asked to update and I did because ily! And it would have been longer but my iPod died while I was writing it and then it had deleted the whole chapter so I had to start again :(

I have the next chapter written up, so if you vote + comment ill upload it today instead of tomorrow because I'm that nice.
