(Astrid Rigel's POV)
I open my door with a creak. "Why do you have to do this!?" I yell at the door under my breath.
I fully open the door and make it out, when I hear someone talking.
"You heard Commander Iverson. We need to bond as a team. We're going to grab Pidge, hit the town, loosen up, meet some nice girls -"
"Okay, I'm-I'm just, I'm just saying this here, right now, on the record... This is a bad idea."
I hear a familiar voice, is that Hunk? I look around the corner and see the brown haired tall boy named Hunk, with another kid. I think that's the Lance kid I heard about!
"Were are they going?" I ask quietly, but they don't hear me.
"You know, for someone in a space exploration program, you don 't have much of a sense of adventure."
"All of your little "adventures" end up with me in the principal's office. Oh, man."
I follow the boys, when I see a guard.
Uh oh. I turn the corner and hide behind one of the trash cans, when the man leaves Hunk and Lance jump out of the other two, Hunk failing miserably. "I'm fine!" hunk yelps. I laugh.
"What was that, Lance? Did you hear that?" Hunk asks. "Nuh-uh." Lance keeps going.
I come out from behind the garbage can."Hunk! Were are you going?" I whisper loudly, finally confident enough to speak.
He turns to me, so does his friend. "Hunk, you never told me you had a lady friend.." He raises an eyebrow at him. "Uh.. This is Astrid, she is one of my friends... Astrid, Lance, my partner and friend." He says, puting an arm out to introduce me. I smile and wave. Lance just smirks and does a strange hand motion. "Hey, I'm Lance. Your a beautiful lady, like to hang out with my friends and I?." He asks me, "Uh, sure." I say smiling awkwardly.
"He's nice," I say. "I thought he was the 'lady killer'." I laugh, Hunk just shrugs and smiles.
"Were is he going?" Lance asks us. "I suppose he's your other partner?" I ask Hunk, he nods and follows the two boys, me following quick behind.
After a while we reach the roof and see the boy sitting down. Who is that? Is that Pidge? Oh-
I get cut from my thoughts when I hear Lance talk to the boy, "Come out here to rock out?" The boy, Pidge, jumps and looks around nervously. He gasps. "Oh, Lance, Hunk, Astrid. No, um, just looking at the stars." He says with a dorky smile.
"Whoa.. Were did you get this stuff? It definitely isn't Garrison Tech." I say, touching the keyboard.
"I built it." Pidge says, giving me an adorable smirk. "You built all of this!?" Hunk and I ask in unison.
Hunk tries to touch a computer and Pidge slaps his hand. "Ah- stop it!" He gives Hunk a glare and continues, "With this thing I can scan all the way to the edge of the solar system." He shows off.
Lance decides to talk now, making Pidge mad. "That right? All the way to Kerberos?" Pidge groans and turns away from him.
"You go ballistic every time the instructors bring it up. What's your deal?" Lance asks. Pidge just looks at Hunk as he is about the touch the computer yet again, "Second warning, Hunk!" Hunk groans.
