The next day
The sun washed through the window of the hotel I was staying in. The drive to Florida proved to be too much for me, and I was already emotional and physically drained from the previous events. But I will not dwell on that. It's time to forget the life I had. Forget the people I loved. I can't do this anymore, I can't live knowing him. So I'll pretend I don't know him at all.
I got up and showered. I left my hair as it's natural beach waves and slipped on my jean shorts, a crop top, a cardigan and my converse.
(Outfit)I checked out of the hotel and hoped in my jeep.
Florida
Finally after getting breakfast in a little diner, and driving for several more hours I arrived to the college.
There were booths set up in front of the college. I walked up to the booth that said freshman. A cute guy with a white t-shirt, and khaki shorts sat there. He had his long blonde hair messily scattered about. He was wearing ray bans and let me tell you he was gorgeous. (Pic below)
"Hey!" He spoke in a deep voice.
"Hi! Um can you help me?" I laughed.
"Sure can, that's what I'm here for!" He chuckled.
After about 20 minutes I found out his name was Lucas and he was a junior technically but he just changed his major so he would be here about 4 more years. He was now helping me to locate my schedule, and dorm information.
"I didn't catch your name."
"Alana" I smiled.
"Ah I used to have a friend named Allen."
"Wow!" I laughed.
"Hey why so sarcastic?!" He questioned jokingly.
"That's just who I am." I lied. I was never the type to joke around and talk to strange boys. But I also wasn't the type to be single either. And I definitely wasn't the type to get out of my comfort zone like this. But this was the new me. Alana 2.0.
