Chapter 3: Flirting and Friends

  "Sorry" I said 

  "Sorry, will not work you abanded this whole team and all there is is sorry, go in the back and change."

  "Okay." I didn't really care what she was saying I was still upset about what my brother did. I grabed my mid-sleeve suite out of my bag along with my tutu-skirt,white tights, and ballet shoes, I got dressed in them and tied my ballet laces. I took my mom and dad's picture and grasped in my hand, I put it back in the bag, and squeezed my locket in my hand and said," I wish you were here." I kissed the gold,hearted locket and hid in my suit. I ran out and headed to the mirror and started my routine with Jhon.

  I stand by the mirror and and wait for Jhon to finish his part. Once Jhon finished I walked over to the break wall when coach stopped me. "Gail I'm sorry for yelling at you, it's just that I've been really worried about the whole performance and you know this is really important and these some of the Juilliards, and the Juilliard dance apament is going to be here and this is the big promotion of for the school and you and Jhon Might get into Juilliard." She said

  "I know it's just that I'm having promblems at home and I don't know coach," I could see Jhon listening to our conversation in the corner of my eye. "Maybe I should quit the performance and do one next semester."

  "Are you sure about this Gail." She said eyeing me.

  "Ye-yeah,"I said nodding my head with a frown. Coach said okay and walked away, I saw going over to Rachel.

  "What the hell were you thinking?!" Jhon said yanking me away, "You can't quit this, we've been rehearsing this for 3 weeks you  just can't quit out of nowhere," He looked over at Rachel, I followed his eyes, Rachel stared back with googly eyes. She has had a crush on him since the Sleeping Beauty performance with 3 years ago, one day she got the guts to ask him out in front of everybody which was the stupidest thing to do! Jhon was trying to be nice about saying no, but the way he said everyone laughed at them well except me that wasn't really good.

  I can't believe she got over it. He turned back to me, "And I don't want to be set up with her at all !" 

  "Well she's an amazing dancer and we both no that." 

  "But I don't want to dance with her!"

  I went over to the bench and sat down. He walked over to me and sat down with me and put his hand on my lap.

"Come on, Rach is not as good as you are and you know that, Gail," I looked into his eyes, I knew that he wanted me back in Swan Lake but I can't be, I looked back down, "Well we have been doing this ballet for 3 weeks and I'd hate to postpone it and this showcase is basically an audition to Juilliard."

" Oh thank you." He leaned in to give me a hug, I hugged him back.

"Abigail and Jhon, I'm glad you guys made up, but now I need Jhon and Rachel to rehearse the first part of the performance."

We both looked at each other. "Uh coach I changed my mind I want to be back in."

"Great Gail, well let's get started."

I change into Bussy Lizzy Tank Top, with H&M denim shorts, a Merie Hobo purse, Riding brown leather boots, gold knit beanie, my parents locker of course, and a pink belt. I leave the dance studio, I head for my car and call my boss, Anthony and tell him I'm on my way.

I walk into the book store to see a big group of girls.

The only reason why girls really come to the book store is to try and flirt with Anthony, it's really disgusting, I mean they might go home and throw a perfectly good book away! I look over to the side to see a gril reading a book dressed in a tan tea dress, floral stilettoes, a lang dale backpack, a brown bangle set, a flower necklace, Fedora hat, she had three books, one was journal I can tell cause it has a lock and key with it, and the book called Book of Miri, and Fifty Shades of Gray.

Looked to the other side of me to see Anthony staring at her, I could tell he liked her. I went over to her and asked, "Do you need help?" 

"Uh, yeah how much is Fifty Shades of Grey?"

"19.99 basically 20.00."

"Thank you, shoot I'm 10 short is okay if I pay you back?"

"It's a discount cause it's a new book."

"Oh okay thank you."

"M-hmm"

"Who's that guy by the register?"

"Why?"

"He's been staring at me since I got here." She giggled a little bit.

"He's Anthony."

"Cool."

I open the door to the house, to find my brothers and Kid's bags packed.

"Did you and Snow make up?"

"Yeah,"

"Good for you then."

"You  don't have to deal with me anymore."

He picked up kid and the bags and started to head out the door. "Wait, hold on, I never said that."

"You didn't have to, it's just, I ruined it for you today and if I do something like that again, then maybe I should g-"

"You've only been here for 48 hours!"

"I know, okay, you just can't be my net hold me up anymore,"

Wh-,"

"I'm cutting the net, you can't and won't be there for me, sis, but thanks."

"Okay." I didn't feel all that sorry for what he said, but they said and put his word into it, he didn't do anything wrong, I don't understand it.
