Chapter 3 The Hunt
Rose's Pov
The minute I stepped outside every smell hit me. It was all over welming. It made me a little dizzy.
"Don't be scard. This is going to be the best night of your existence. As well the begining of your existence." He took my hand and gently pulled me to him tucking me under his arm. We began walking. It seemed like we hadn't been walking for a long, but we walked ten miles.
We came to a park with very few people. He let go of my hand and walked behind me. Putting his hands on my waist, leaning close to my ear. "Close your eyes, concentrate on what you hear and smell." He whispered soothingly. I did as he said. I could hear his breathing and heartbeat. "Listen farther out." I could hear a young girl talking. I could smell something....tempting. I wanted it, my mouth began to water as my throat burned with desire. My eyes shot open as I looked into the direction of the delicoious smell. "Follow your instincts." He told me while letting go of my waist.
She was all the way across the field. I was behind her within seconds. I turned her body around and pushed her against the tree and bit her. I did it so quickly she hadn't even realized what was happening until it was too late. Her screams filled the now empty field as did my moans of satisfaction. I felt her body go limp in my arms as I held her body in place so it didnt fall, so that my teeth could stay in contact with her skin. I didn't want to stop.. I wanted to drain her body dry. I felt caden behind me.
"Baby, you need to stop she is going to die!" He spoke gently. I pulled away licking it so it would heal. I backed away and leaned into him. He reached over to see that it had healed and it had. Quickly though, a little to quickly... "You did amazing for your first time. Better than normal vampires. "
"What do you mean normal vampires? I'm not normal?" I asked with confusion written all over my face.
"Thats a story that I will explain on a long car ride." He winked at me. "Come on you are goign to love where we are going." I let him pull me down the street to this HUGE house. Walking up to the gaurage he typed in a code and it opened. Revealing six gorgeous cars. "Pick one." He said with the cutest smile.
"The mustang." I picked my favorite car. He walked over to a table with a bunch of different keys. Taking my hand he lead me to the beautiful car. Opening the door like the gentleman he is. I got in, surpirsed when he reached over me and buckled my seatbelt for me. I giggled, "I can do that myself you know." He didn't answer he just kissed me on the lips lightly before shutting my door and getting the car. "Where are we going?"
"You will see." He took my hand in his and we sat in silence for quite a while. It was a comfortable silence.
I glanced at the speedometer, he was going over 200 mph. I hadn't even noticed how fast we were going. We drove up in the forest to this cliff. A perfect veiw of where the sun will rise. He parked the car and opened my door before I could even move. Its going to take sometime to get used to his speed... "I know you like adreneline rushes, and this is the biggest adreneline rush there is. We did this in everyone of your lives. We are going cliff diving."
Its like he knows me more than I know me. He pulled his shirt off and his pants, leaving him in only his underwear. Showing off his incrediablly sexy body.. That is all MINE! He put his clothes in the car. Pulling my clothes off as well leaving me only in my bra and underwear. He threw them in the car wiht his. Pulling me to edge, " Wanna do it together?" The look on my face said exactly what i was thinking. He took my hand and began to count. "On three we jump together. 1..2..3" He pulled me as he jumped, never letting go of my hand as we hit the water. My heart is racing so fast. OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN! He pulled me out of the water and picked me up, running to the top again.
"I know exactly what you want to do." He stated with a huge grin on his face.
"What, What do I want to do?"
"You want to have your back face the cliff and fall backwards. You loved doing that."
"Actually I hadn't thought of that. But, since you brought that idea to my mind it does sound like fun." I smirked.
"Then do it!" He laughed. I walked over to edge and turned to face him and smiled just as I fell backwards off the cliff. Hitting the water gently as the water sournds me I feel another splash as caden slipped into the water seconds after I had.
He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me to him. His delicious lips were against mine. We had to resurface for air. But as soon as we got air our lips met again in a heated kiss. I wrapped my legs around his waist, tangling my fingers in his soft black hair. His hands traced my torso and back. It began to rain, we both looked up as the first drops touched us. The way our bodies fit together like two puzzle pieces. When he touches me it feels so amazing. When we touch its like fireworks shooting off in our skin. "That was the best first underwater kiss." I smiled. Our lips were still close enough I could taste his delcious breath. He smelled like the perfect mixture of spice and sweet. He brushed his lips, check and down my chin and along my neck. Stopping at my spot, where his mark is now. My breath hitched in my throat. He chucked at my reaction. That sound me me growl. It feels so right to be in his arms like this. To have his hands on my body. To be wrapped around him. To smell his intoxicating scent. To be mated with him. Everything about him is perfect, absolutly perfect. HOW THE HELL DID I GET THIS MAN?!?! How do I deserve him?!?
"What are you thinking about mi amor?" He asked with his face barried in the crook of my neck.
"Mi amor?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows."
"It means my love in spanish." I could hear the smile in his voice as he spoke. "Now what are you thinking about?" He resated his question.
"You." I simply said kind of nervous to see his reaction.
"What about me?" I pulled back so that he could see my face. I told him my every thought other than the last part about how did i get him and how do i deserve him. He could tell I left some things out but didn't push me to tell him. And I was glad. "The sun is starting to rise. We need to get you that ring." He spoke those words with sadness leaking out.
"What's wrong?" I asked taking him by surprise he didn't think I would notice.
"I don't want to leave, I want to stay right here and hold you. But we have to get that ring of yours." He said pulled us to the waters edge. Carring me to the car and handing me my clothes. we got dressed and got in the car. Before he could put the key in the ignition i climbed over and sat in his lap. "Hey there!" I laid my head on his shoulder. He wrapped one of his arms around my waist and used the other to drive.
