Sabrina's POV
September 12
Well a lot has gone on in the last week so let me catch you up on a few things. First of all Uriah told his parents I'm pregnant. They were pretty upset especially since he is 19 and I'm only 17. After that happened Uriah and his parents came to Pennsylvania. (aka. My home!) Now they we are all on our way to speak to my parents lawyers.
Also my Evolution tour starts on September 17th so in 5 days. My tour ends on November 1st. I'm excited yet very scared. I told my manager what is going on and she understands. She said that she will take care of me while I'm on tour. Anyways I'm in the car with my parents driving to their lawyers office and it is dead silence.
We get there and meet up with Uriah and his parents. We walk inside and the lawyer greets us and tells us he wants to talk to our parents. They walk inside and now it's just Uriah and me outside. I sit there and don't say a word.
Uriah: What do you think will happen?
Sabrina: I honestly don't know. I mean you could be arrested and charged.
Uriah: I know and I know it was my fault.
Our parents come out and the lawyer asks us to come in. I can tell by both of our parents faces they are not happy. I follow Uriah in and we sit down at the table.
Lawyer: So your parents have already told me what's going on. So right now before I say anything that has to do with legal issues I want you to explain what you want to happen. Sabrina you want to go first.
Sabrina: Yeah. I want Uriah in this child's life. I don't want my child to not know their dad. I don't want the public to find out. And I especially don't want them to know Uriah is the father.
Lawyer: Why don't you want the public to know Uriah is the father?
Sabrina: Because, I'll hold Uriah back from opportunities. I mean you tried out for a TV show and I don't want you to feel limited.
Uriah: You aren't holding me back.
Sabrina: Not now. But in a little while.
Uriah: I'm not ashamed about being a dad.
Sabrina: I know.
Lawyer: Ok. Thank you Sabrina. Uriah?
Uriah: I want to be in this child's life. I want my child to be ok. Anything else doesn't matter.
Lawyer: Ok. Thank you. Now I have to tell you the legal rules. Because you both are less than 3 years apart there are less restrictions. However Sabrina and her parents can charge you for sexual harassment. But I talked to her parents and they are bot going to do that. So now there is this, the police can get involved anytime during this pregnancy and pretty much charge you Uriah. However there is this one thing, you can get married with parental consent from Sabrina's parents. This can not stop the police however you will have a huge part in this child's life and since you would be married then can't tear you apart from your family.
Sabrina: What happens if we don't get married?
Lawyer: Well, you could be looking at a lot of different possibilities.
Sabrina: What happens if I say Uriah isn't the father my whole pregnancy and then when the child is born he signs the birth certificate and it's done. The police can't do anything, right?
Lawyer: Well your due date is April 25? And your birthdate is May 11?
Sabrina: Yes.
Lawyer: Ok, well from the time you give birth and the time you turn 18 the police has every right to do something. But by the time you turn 18, they can't touch you.
Sabrina: Really? So that's it hold the police out until I turn 18 and I'm ok?
Lawyer: Yes and no. Yes, you wait until you are 18 and no because if the police finds out before then you're over.
Sabrina: Ok, so fake it. I won't say Uriah is the father. I have the baby, Uriah signs the birth certificate and we wait. Once I turn 18 we come clean and I'm ok?
Lawyer: I guess you could do that but I would suggest you two get married just in case the police do find out. If they don;t then it's ok. But if they do then you well have less restrictions.
Sabrina: Ok, then we get married. We stay away from each other in the public's eye and everything will be ok.
Uriah: Sabrina I can't do that.
Sabrina: Why not?
Uriah: Because I'm the father, I want to go through this journey with you.
Sabrina: You will just not in the public's eye.
Uriah: What about "the father"? Whose going to be the fake father?
Sabrina: I don't know yet but I might have an idea.
Lawyer: Ok. Well if you both are ok with doing this then I won't stop you.
Sabrina: Ok, good. Well get married this week. Then we'll be ok.
Uriah: Ok.
Lawyer: Ok. Well thank you for getting in contact with me. I will be in touch and I'm going to look more into this.
Uriah: Thank you we appreciate it.
Sabrina: Thank you.
We tell our parents and well we are getting married in two days! Sarah calls Shannon and we go dress shopping. I buy a white dress and a new pair of shoes. (Coming in next chapter!) And we go home. It's only going to be me, Uriah, Uriah's parents, my parents, Sarah, and Shannon, oh and the officiator. So that's like ten people. Anyways I go to sleep that night and think, "Damn, I'm getting married tomorrow."
