"Ellie?!" I say
"Yes, Kylie, now you know, why I didn't want you to go to the back-garden, I was afraid that Ginevra didn't tell you who you really are..." "and, yes, I also knew that you, Tom and Agatha, were wizards, but I didn't tell to all of you that I was one too." Ellie says
"Why didn't you tell us?" Agatha asks
"Because I couldn't, when I first met you Agatha, four years ago, I immediately discovered your nature, because I saw the Vitiligo on your finger, you can recognise a wizard only from Vitiligo"
"Okay, but why are you here?" Tom says
"I am here to warn you three, especially you Kylie"

I take a deep breath and Agatha starts to talk

"I feel like something is going to happen, and it will be bad" she says
"Kylie, I need to talk to you, Ginevra and your friends, but not here, oh and keep your wand always with you" Ellie says
"Certainly, let's go to the Midnight Lake" I say

Before we go Ellie screams
"Ceremony Finem!"

The goblet disappears and everyone returns to do what was doing before I arrived.

"Now we can go" Ginevra says behind us, making Agatha and me turn around fast, while Tom turns around five seconds slower than us.

We walk through the town, I think that Agatha is right, I feel that something bad is going to happen, and that I'll have to fight to win. A female voice wakes me up from my thoughts

"Hey, Hello!"
"Who are you?" I say trying to be as friendly as possible
"Oh Kylie, she is Elbereth McKnowen, she is a wizard" Agatha says
"Oh, nice to meet you" I say giving her my hand
"Nice to meet you too, are you all going to the Midnight Lake?"
"Yes Elb, would you like to come with us?" Tom says
"Of course" she answers
"Very well, but we can't be too many, so she is the last one who comes with us" Ginevra says
"Okay, I promise I won't create troubles" Elbereth clarifies

We walk and we finally arrive at the lake.

"We are here, now everybody behind me, please" Ellie says
"Agurium!" she screams

Light. So much light. Then a person comes out of the water, not a real one, a ghost, but it seems really a real person.

"Mom?!" I whisper shocked
"Kylie, come next to me and concentrate on your mother!" Ellie tells me

I focus as much as I can and she comes out of the water, and she can touch the ground, she is alive.

"Done, Ann! How are you?" Ginevra says going next to my mother
"Very well, Tom, Agatha, Elbereth, how are you all?" She answers
"Well, but I think you should ask someone else if she is fine" Elbereth says pointing at me, my mother didn't notice me, and I can say this because she is as shocked as me

"Mom!" I scream
"Kylie" She says
"Mom" I say running through her arms and hugging her while I am crying

I feel like she never died.

"How is that possible?"
"When a wizard dies, he or she comes alive in his or her native city, but I must live here, if I go out of here I will die, and this time forever"
"So I can live with you?" I say in the happiest way
"Yes, I won't let you down" She answers

"Wait, you all knew that she was my mother?" I ask
"Yes, but now we are for more important things" Tom says
"It must be really bad if you called Ann, Ellie" Agatha says
"And it is Agatha" She answers back

I take a deep breath and Agatha notices that

"Kylie, you already understood everything, don't you?" She says
"Yes, and I know that we, together, will have to fight him"
"You are clever Kylie, we will make it" Tom continues
"Okay, I am here to prepare you three for the battle against August and his followers" My mother explains
"But how is he? Nobody has never seen him neither in the face" Agatha says
"That's true Agatha, but we don't need to see him to fight him" Tom says while putting his arm around Agatha's shoulder, but then he puts it away, embarrassed.

Agatha looks at him, and we all notice that there was an embarrassing moment, and I look at Agatha with my "He likes you" face.

"What will I do, Ann?" Elbereth asks breaking the silence
"You can control that August or one of his followers don't enter the town, it would be really bad if he enters Serphe Lane before we are ready"

I don't feel good about Elbereth, I mean I don't even know her, but I feel like she won't help us.

"Okay, we can go back to Serphe Lane, and Ann your room is always ready if you want to come and stay in my house, Aeron is there and he lives with me" Ginevra says
"Thanks Ginevra, I accept" My mother says

We walk back to the town and it's night.

"Kylie, Agatha, Tom, we have to go back to the school" Ellie says
"Yes, but how?" I ask
"Follow us" Tom says
"Bye!" Agatha says for everyone.

We go to the wood wall and Agatha says "Murum Apertus!", like Ginevra did when we were going to Serphe Lane, and the wall disappered.

We start to walk and Tom tells me something that I would have never known how to answer back.

Here it is a new chapter!
