"Dylan get out of your bed before you're late for school again!" yelled Dylan's mom from the kitchen as she got the family's breakfast ready.
"Stop shouting mom! I'm already outta bed!!" he replied while he drooled on the pillow, continuing to dream about Megan Fox.
"You're never gonna get Megan Fox son, so get out of the bed and straight into the bath before I let your laptop tan a little in the waffle machine." "Don't even think about it mom! Cmon man this isn't done!"he screamed as he threw himself into the bathroom.
The entire house, situated in one of the most quiet areas near Hollywood Boulevard, LA, was submerged in the smell of the hot waffles being prepared by Mrs. Rosanna Wood.
The house was small but welcoming and cozy. Mr and Mrs Peter Wood had decorated every nook and corner of the house with their very own hands. Mr. Wood had served in the army for five years and after Dyaln was born, had taken to an office job so that he could spend time with his family. The house was like a typical 'holiday home' ,made entirely of wood with a beautiful garden sprawling behind the house. Anyone could dreamily walk in the garden and loose themselves in the smell and beauty of the garden, which grew every flower possible.
Four rooms- one for Mr and Mrs. Wood, the second for Dylan, the third for his sister Stella who was a year older to him and the fourth for his younger sister Brianda, who wasn't at home- with a theme of beige and gold, the classy selection of the furniture and the other things in the bungalow made it look rich.
"Enough of that stuff on your face Stella! You need to understand that it's your face not a colouring book!" "She needs that on mom or who on earth will come close to her!"screamed Dylan as he came down the stairs. "Ya like you need to work out so that when girls reject you looking at that hideous face, you have a 'backup' which is worse than that poop covered face!"
The usual sibling fights which never seemed to come to an end, whether it was in the morning related to breakfast and food or in the night related to things which people normally cannot even think of.
"Oh that's enough you two!"interjected Peter. " Dylan she's come only for some time; when will you two understand. And if you two don't want to understand, then keep these fatuous arguments out of my house."
This was the scene every morning at the Wood house. But the real craziness started after they came back form their respective work or school. The only thing left was the announcement of World War III.
Who wants what for dinner, who will get the last piece of pizza, who gets what amount of pocket money, who takes their dog, Scotch, for a walk and lots of other things. The house would be like a beehive in the morning with everyone home, but would become as quiet as a church during prayer when everyone left.
However, it would come back to what you call 'normal' when everyone was back home.
Dylan was an 18 year old tall and well built boy with eyes as brown as dark chocolate, creamy, delectable and melting. His hair, brown as the mahogany tress and cheeks as though coloured with peaches. 'THE basketball player' and the hottest boy at school but yet the most helpful and kind, a boy any girl would easily fall for. But Dylan already had his miss special.
"I'm out mom!" Dylan screamed as he rode to school on his bike and picked up his miss special, Andrea. "Oh my God babe I've missed you so much! These two weeks were like 2 years!" said Dyaln as he threw open his arms for her.
"I know I missed you too!"She replied as she flung herself into Dylan's arms. The vanilla smell from her soft straight brown hair was the smell Dylan was craving for since she had left.
"But you know I had to go...we hadn't been on a 'family vacation' since mom and dad's divorce. They just wanted to spend time with me." "They're not yet divorced Andrea. They've just decided to file for one." "It means the same Dylan. Do you know the feeling of not seeing them in the same house now and then having to choose between the two..?"
Tears welled up in Andrea's eyes. Dylan gently held her face and whispered in her ear, "I can't promise that everything will be alright but what I can promise is that whatever happens, you'll always find me by your side. I promise." On hearing this, Andrea genuinely smiled because she knew that Dylan would never leave her.
"OK forget all this! *clearing his throat* Beautiful lady do you need a ride to school?"Dylan asked with a flirty smile. "I could use one."Andrea giggled as she sat in his car and zoomed off to school.

"Ron pass the ball pass the ball!" "Oh my God your makeup is soo on point." "You see her dress? I have the same one. She's stealing my style."
The usual hustle bustle at school when, "Hey you douche! How dare you step on my shoes! They're the brand new Air Jordans. You can't even think about buying them!" "I'm sorry..uh..um..I didn't mean to.." replied the boy who was trembling with fear.
The 'bully' raised his hand to slap the poor boy and get his rattling set of teeth out of his mouth when, "Hey! Hey! What's the matter dude? Why you scaring this kid out of his wits. He's not even our age!" "We're in the same biology class Max.." "Really?? Oh my bad. Ok. Sam why are you scaring my classmate! You need to just clean your shoes."
Max, the cutest and one of the hottest guy at Slider's High. Nobody dared to mess with him because when he was nice, he was really nice, but if you pissed him off, better tell your friends to book a bed for you at the hospital. Once those blue eyes narrowed and the teeth bit the pink lips, not to scare you, but you would be celebrating the rest of your birthdays in the company of many 100 year olds in the cemetry.
But Max had only two weaknesses, his best friend Dylan and his girlfriend Emma.Ok back to the present- "Max you better stay outta this it's none of your damn business!"said Sam arrogantly as he punched Max in the face. The crowd began to whisper to another. "Now that, you shouldn't have done." *Bam* and Sam was on the ground, groaning in pain with a bleeding nose. "Ain't no punches on this pretty face! You get that man?!"and walked off with his friends as the set his ruffled golden-brown hair back in place. The girls went crazy, talking about his perfectly grown hair and his sea blue eyes.
"What's this commotion about?"asked Dylan as he parked his bike. "Did Mike-" "Who's turn was it now to check if they have a nose insurance?" Andrea giggled. "Anyways, where is he?" "In class I guess. The bell just rang." "Impossible" said Dylan while shaking his head and smiling.
