"You thought it wasn't important to tell me...to tell me such a big truth about myself? How could you?"

A few days earlier...

"Hey you guys are back." said Dylan as he hugged his parents and helped hem with their luggage.

"Dylan, where are you taking the flower pot along?" asked his mom.

Without looking at the flower pot he knew exactly what he had done. He kept it down and took the bags inside the house without answering the question.

They sat and spoke about the property his parents were planning to buy. Dylan's father told him to switch on the light outside the house. He switched it on and within a nanosecond switched it off. He switched it on and then off. On off, on off till the light just blew up.

"Why did you do that?" asked his mom.

"Nothing, I'm just a little tired. I'll meet you guys tomorrow morning."

Dylan slammed the door shut. The three of them gave eachother the 'what just happened look'. Dylan went to sleep without eating dinner, just thinking about how to tell his parents about his condition.

The next day Max finally came to school. He looked completely drained out. He hair was not set properly, His face was as if he had given up; given up all hope to ever get Emma back. Before he could meet anybody, he met Dylan. Dylan took his to a classroom to talk to him. Before Dylan could say anything, Max just pulled him into a hug and started crying. Dylan somehow managed to calm him down.

"Max, if you love her so much why do you do this?"

"I know I screwed up big time Dylan, but it just happens. If I see a beautiful girl, I can't stop myself. My hands just grab her."

"Stop behaving like me. Your talking as if you've also got Al-"

"Like you? But you never flirt with any girl. And what have you got that even I have?"

Dylan froze. He didn't know what to say.

"Umb...nothing. I just meant you need to control yourself. And if you really love Emma, you will change and you will get her back, gain her trust forever."

Max nodded his head like an obidient child as Dylan wiped away his tears with his sleeves.

Dylan asked Andrea whether she had spoken to Emma. Andrea said that she had, but Emma wasn't ok at all.She wasn't planning on coming to school for a few more days. Dylan told Andrea about his conversation with Max in the classroom. He told Andrea to try to talk to Emma about forgiving Max.

"Are you crazy Dylan? He literally cheated on her in front of everyone. She's already so upset, and you want me to tell her to forgive him?! None of the others in the group are talking to him properly."

"I know what he did was wrong, but he's repenting now. Just please try and talk to her, for me. Anyways we're meeting at my place for the assignment. At least get her to come home."

Andrea frowned, but said she'd try her best. Dylan gave a slight smile and kissed her. She shut her eyes in relief, relief that she could trust Dylan with her life. His sweet smell just made her feel happy and comfortable in any situation. They remained with their heads against each others till the bell didn't signal them to class.

Everyone was at Dylan's in the evening..except for Andrea and Emma. Max wasn't really talking to anyone, just looking at Dylan's room door, waiting for Emma to walk in.

"Max what do you think about this? We can like-"

Alex looked at Max's face and realised that he wasn't paying attention to what he was saying.

"I don't think she's coming bud. She's real pissed."

"Will you not!"

"Don't start a fight please. We've had enough of it for the week" sighed Dylan.

As soon as Dylan stopped the fight, the doorbell rang. Dylan could hear his mother greeting someone at the door and telling them to go up, before she left. Before Dylan could pray that Emma had also come along, he saw her cute, dimpled smile face come into the room. He had seen a smile on her face after a long time, actually he had seen her after a while.

Dylan gave Andrea the relieved smile. Emma met everyone, except Max. She didn't even bother to look at him, when he was looking only at her.

Max tried to talk to her while they were doing their work, but she wouldn't listen.

Dylan didn't even ask Andrea how she managed to get Emma along. When Emma got up to go to the washroom, Dylan waited for her. As soon as she came out, he opened his mouth to say something, but Emma didn't let him.

"I know you want to convince me to forgive Max. But tell me one thing, would you have forgiven Andrea for something like this, that to every now and then? I want to be free, away from worrying about someone I love cheating on me, every second of my life. I know you'all are best of friends, but we're friends too. You should understand me also."

Dylan sighed. He nodded with a slight smile and hugged Emma. He promised her that he would never tell her to forgive Max, it was completely her decision.

During their entire preparation, Max's eyes were glued to Emma.

While thinking about ideas, Dylan suddenly screeched in pain. He poked the pencil into his leg. Hearing him screech, Scotch came and sat next to him.

"Oh my God! Max get the first aid box!" said

Andrea didn't question him because she knew the cause. She managed to pull the pencil out, while Dylan held on to his carpet as tight as he could so as not to scream in pain when she pulled it out. Scotch licked the small but painful wound, as Dylan tickled his ears.

Max came with the first aid box and Andrea bandaged the wound.

"You should be careful Dylan" said Susanna.

"But before anything, I want to know what this is" said Max firmly.

Max had a blue file in his hand. Dylan's blue file. Dr. Frazer's blue file. The file which changed the way Dylan looked at life. Dylan and Andrea looked at eachother. Her eyes went to the carpet and then back to Dylan. The look in her eyes told him that he had hidden it enough, it was time to tell them.
