(One sentence) I reach for the light switch, but a hand is already there.
(One sentence) I just saw my reflection blink.
My daughter won't stop crying and screaming at night. I visit her grave and ask her to stop, but it doesn't help.
(Three sentence) I often hide in between my bedsheets when I am home alone. One night, I ask no one in particular if it is bad that I get scared. "It's alright friend, they can't get us in here."
I hear a noise home alone at night, so I reach for my flashlight. It is handed to me.
My sister says mommy killed her. Mommy says I don't have a sister.
It's been watching me for over an hour now.... I sometimes see it in the reflection of my computer screen, but I dare not turn around.
(One sentence) I never go to sleep, but I keep waking up.
"Dad, the maid told me that our house is haunted."
"Pack up son, we don't have a maid."
"I'm scared", she says crawling in bed next to me. I wake up cold, clutching the dress she was buried in.
My wife wakes me up to say that there's an invader in our house. She was killed by one two years ago.
There's nothing like the sound of a baby's laughter. Unless it's nighttime, and you live alone.
She asked why he was breathing so heavily. He wasn't
As I tucked her in, she said " Goodbye, daddy" and I explained to her that we say goodnight, not goodbye. Her reply was "Yes, but tonight it's goodbye."
"Coming, mother!"
"Don't go down there, I heard it too."
My daughter was coloring a picture when she looks at me and says "You were my mother last time, before we died. This time it will be much more painful."
I look out the window to see smiling faces. I live on the fourteenth floor.
He woke up. She didn't.
(This one is mine!) I thought it was cute how she would talk out loud as she played with her dolls. That was, until I heard someone talk back.
I can't talk, move, eat, drink, or breathe. Had I known this was going to be so lonely, I would have chosen to be cremated instead.
I have trouble sleeping that night in the haunted mansion, for the walls are covered with paintings picturing the most horrible, deformed and demented beings imaginable. Now I have trouble sleeping any night, for when I got up that morning, the walls were covered with windows.
(Three sentences) Don't be scared of monsters, look for them. Look to the right, to the left, under your bed, in your closet, but whatever you do, don't look up. She hates being seen.
