I Remember You!(Peter X reader AU) Black Butler: Book of Circus

Sorry it took so long for it to come out, like I said I have a pattern and I wanted it to be good, with less errors. And this is going to be an AU just because I haven't seen the Book of Circus yet. I hope you like it.

You are walking to your house after a long day of work. The air has a cool crisp to it. Your hand is warm due to you holding hot chocolate in it.

As you walk down the sidewalk, you look around at your surroundings. You love looking at everything, even if you seen it multiple times.

While you're looking around you notice a familiar face, but you could quite put your finger on how you know this person. He has blonde hair and green eyes. The mysterious person also has a stitch by his right ear.

You stop walking to get a better look at him. You tilt your head to the side, confused.

"Why do I know this person?" You think.

The guy then gets up from his seat and walks away into an apartment building. What's funny is that you live in the same apartment building.

You follow suit and go inside. Your not following him, your just going home.

Not to do it on purpose, but you end up in the same elevator. Before you can question him, he speaks.

"Don't talk to me."

You close your eyes. "There is no need to be rude."

So the ride up to your floor was silent, the awkward one too. When your floor comes you get off, happy you get to leave the awkwardness. But that feeling goes away when he gets off too.

"Is he following me?" You couldn't help but think.

As you walk in front of the strange man, you could feel him looking at you.

"I wonder if he has a feeling he knows me, like I feel towards him?"

You continue to walk to your room. Once there, you grab your keys and unlock it. Before you go in, you notice the man walk into the room on your left.

He turns his head and looks at you. You hurry into your room and close the door. Scared he's going to yell at you for staring.

You slide down your door, not caring if your butt hit the floor. You start to wonder if you went to school with him.

You quickly get up and run to your room. You dig through your box of yearbooks, till you find your senior one.

"Yes!" You say as you pull it out of the box. You start to flip through the pages of your yearbook, smiling at every memory and picture.

Then you find it, the picture you've been looking for. His name is Peter! You remember now, he was the kid that never talked to anyone.

You always tried to talk to him or be his friend, but he always walked away.

You smile. "I'm going to go say hi."

You get up off your floor and toss the yearbook on your bed. You head out your door and walk toward his room.

Once you get there you hesitate. "Would he even want to see me? Does he even remember me?"

You ignore these questions and knock anyway. As you wait, you whistle.

You then hear the door open.

"What do you want?" His voice dripping with venom.

"Hi. I just wanted to know if you remember me."

"Am I supposed too?"

You smile nervously. "Um not really no. But we went to school together and I just wanted to say hi."

Peter opens the door all the way, so you can see his face completely. "What's your name?"

"(Y/n), my names (Y/n)."

"Hm. Your that person that kept trying to talk to me."

You nod. "Yup!"

Then he closes the door. You stand there wondering what you did wrong.

"Did I do something wrong?"

With your feelings a little hurt, you shuffle back to your place. Though you do feel better that you found out how you know him.

You thought he would've changed and would want to be your friend, guess not.

You being bummed out, you went straight to bed.

You wake up to your alarm. You groan as you heave yourself off your bed. As your feet touch the cold floor, you shiver.

"It's chilly." You whisper to yourself. You grab your fuzzy blanket and wrap it around yourself. "Mmmmm. So warm."

You go into the kitchen to make yourself breakfast. Then you realize you need to go to the store.

You groan as you go back to your room to get changed. When your done, you get your shoes on and head outside.

Your now done with your shopping and are now heading into line. When you get into line you notice your behind Peter.

"Hi Peter."

Peter takes a glance at you and sighs. "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to say hi." You answer.

He glances back in front of him, ignoring you.

Alright you had enough of this. "Why do you ignore me? I've done nothing to you. I just want to be your friend!"

Peter turns completely around and gets in your face. "Maybe I don't want to be your friend!"

"Why not! I can be a good friend!" You yell in his face.

"Because I've like you more than a friend!" Peter yells. After he realizes what he said his cheeks flush a dark red. "Pretend I didn't say anything."

You laugh. "No no I won't. So you've liked me all this time? Why didn't you tell me?"

Peter mumbles something that you can't understand.

You put your hand up to your ear, playfully. "I'm sorry what was that?"

"I said I was afraid! Okay? I was afraid of your rejection."

"That's great to hear because I always thought you were cute!" You smile.

"Wha--?" Before Peter finished you have him a kiss. Surprisingly, he kissed back.
