~I don't know about you guys but obsessed with Steve Rogers/Captain America/Chris Evans. If you ask CDbutter, my other best friend, and my family, they would tell you the same thing. If you didn't know I love Marvel all together. Captain America is my favorite.
~Instead of using '(he/she)', I'm just going to use 'they' because it would make it easier on me.
You are at the avengers tower and no you aren't an Avenger. You are close friends with all of them.
They asked you before they went out to fight hydra, if you could watch Natasha's cat. Of course you agreed considering they've saved the world multiple times.
As you are playing with Sapphire, the cat, when the Avengers burst in. You quickly stand up to see what is wrong.
When they come into view you see Tony holding Steve. Why, you may ask? Because he was back the way he was in 1942. He was pre-serum Steve.
"What the hell happened?" You ask worried.
Tony places Steve in the couch and Steve grunted. "Hydra happened." He says sarcastically. "What else would have happened?"
"Don't be mad at (Y/n)." Steve grunts. "They didn't do anything."
Tony sighs loudly. "Alright well me and the rest of the Avenger team are going to go back to get the serum. You watch Steve."
Then they leave, so it's just you and Steve. You walk over to your boyfriend and take a seat. "You okay?"
Steve sits up and looks at the floor. "If I'm being honest, no. I feel useless, like my strength actually brought something to the team. With the serum I was Captain America. Now I'm just Steve Rogers."
You lean forward. "And what's wrong with Steve Rogers? I happen to like him better than Captain America."
"I'm not the hero everyone expects me to be," Steve admits. "I'm letting everyone down."
"Hey," You smile to cheer him up, "You're not letting me down. You make me proud."
"Even when I'm not strong?" Steve questions.
You nod. "Definitely. I love you."
"Love you too."
