(A/N I forgot that I still had to update this :p)
3rd Person P.O.V.
*The Next Day*
Marinette woke up and applied some concealer and foundation on the bruises on her face.
She flinched a couple of times, because it hurt like hell, but she was used to it.
She grabbed a dark long sleeved shirt, so none of her cuts were shown, and wore some black leggings.
She applied some natural shade pink lip gloss.
She walked downstairs, only to be ignored by her parents.
Typical. She thought. I guess some things don't change.
She didn't get anything to eat and just walked outside.
"HEY GIRL!" Alya said, running to Marinette.
Marinette plastered a big fake smile on her face.
She's mastered this ability for a long time now.
No one could see through it.
Or so she thought.......
"Hey Alya!" Marinette said, waving.
Alya stopped running and looked at her friend, with a serious expression.
"What?" Marinette asked.
"Stop." Was all Alya said.
"Stop what?" Marinette asked.
"Stop faking it." Alya said.
And with that, tears rolled down Marinette's cheeks.
"W-what?" Marinette asked.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng."
Oh no. Marinette thought. She used my full name, that can't be good.
"Adrien bullied you again, didn't he?" Alya asked, genuinely concerned.
Alya has known about the bullying and has tried to help Marinette in any way she can.
Marinette didn't say anything and looked down.
Alya ran up to her and gave her a hug, but not too tight, knowing bruises were there.
Alya was unaware of the way Marinette cuts herself, or she's being ignored at home, or that she self harms herself and has suicidal thought, or that she starves herself.
All Alya knew was the bullying.
So, whenever Alya saw cuts and scars, Marinette blamed it on the bullying. Whenever Alya and Marinette go to the bakery, the Dupain-Chengs were always 'busy' and don't have time to talk, but without Marinette, they talk to Alya with ease. Marientte's thoughts were unheard by Alya and everyone else in the world. Alya never notices how thin Marinette is and doesn't bother to tell her to eat, thinking she always does.
Yup, that was Marinette's life, but she wouldn't change a thing.
"What happened yesterday?" Alya said, letting go of the hug.
"Nothing much, just the usual beat up." Marinette said, wiping away her tears.
"MARINETTE! THAT'S NOT NOTHING?!" Alya yelled.
Marinette shrugged. "He's done worse."
Alya gave Marinette a sympathetic look.
"Next time I'm sick, I won't stay home from school." Alya said.
