The meeting

chapter 13

The car drives away from the area and after just a few minutes, it stops in front of a very expensive looking restaurant. Josh and my jaws drop, staring at the restaurant. And this is just the outside of it.

"Oh no sweeties, we're just going to the Mc Donalds across the street!" Lana says. "Uh, oh, okay. Sure, sure." Josh says. Lana chuckles "just kidding, let's get out and head to the restaurant!".

The driver opens the car doors for the 6 of us to walk out. "Enjoy your meal, I will come to pick you all up in 2 hours!" the driver says, as he steps back into the large car.

Lana intertwines our fingers and while holding hands, we walk into the restaurant.

"Woooooow!" is all Josh and I were able to speak out. Seeing just the restaurant already, the food must be amazing, but also very expensive.

"Yeah, it's quite impressive huh?" Lana asks with a smirk. Josh and I nod our heads and our eyes widen as we see how beautiful the plates of food look when served to people their tables. But then I saw Josh's eyes slowly turn towards my hand and then I realised Lana's fingers were still intertwined with mine. "Uhm, Jamy, w-what are you guys doing exactly?" Josh mumbles. I blush and squish Lana's hand softly to grab her attention. "What's wrong sweetie?" Lana asks. Josh stares at me with a slight smirk "Go get her tiger!" he chuckles. Lana pretends not to hear it and I smile awkwardly.

A young waitress walks up to Jennifer, Josh D, Lana, Robbie, my friend Josh and I "Welcome to our restaurant, I'm a huge fan!" she says with a high-pitched, excited voice. Lana shakes the young lady her hand "nice to meet you, what's your name?". The waitress stammers and her cheeks turn red "Uhm, m-my name? It's uhm, Mary. It's n-nice to meet you too, Lana! I wanted to come to the convention, but I had to work, but this must be my lucky day!". Lana chuckles "Robert, Colin, S- uhm Sean, .. he yes, uhm, whatever, .. Megan, Rebecca and Emilie are coming too!". The waitress her jaw drops and I saw a sparkle in her eyes. "Alright, I will take you to your table. Please may you follow me!" she says with a huge smile on her face. 

We arrive at the table, "table for 12, I will come back to bring the menu cards, please feel free to take a seat" the waitress says. Josh grabs a seat and pulls it back towards himself "please take a seat my beautiful lady" he says chuckling. I nod and take a seat "thank you mister gentleman". He pushes my seat gently towards the table, to make sure I sit comfortably. Then he sits next to me, on my right. 

Lana had already taken a seat on my left, tapping her nails impatiently on the table and looking quite annoyed. "What's wrong Lana?" I whisper. Lana rolls her eyes "it's nothing!". I bite my lip "you can tell me anything babe!". I was shocked because of the fact I just called Lana 'babe' for the first time face-to-face. "I thought Josh was your babe" Lana said with a slightly annoyed tone. I chuckle "so, that's the problem?". Lana lets out a deep breath and nods. "You know that he is gay right?" I say laughing. Lana her eyes widen and chuckles softly "I'm sorry Jamy, I'm just being jealous or something. I'll explain myself later tonight". I smile "No need to worry!". I squeeze Lana's hand softly and smile.

Then we notice that Robbie had taken a seat next to Josh, Jennifer and Josh D have taken a seat across the table of Lana and I and that Robert, Colin, Sean, Megan, Rebecca and Emilie just entered the restaurant.
