That Awkward Moment

I am terribly sorry for the long wait on the update but here it is! I hope you are enjoying this story because I am enjoying writing it! :)

Claires' POV  

Bring! Bring! Bring! 

Ugh! Why does that stupid alarm have to be so annoying?

Why can't I sleep for another five more minutes? Then realization hit me... I have to shower and make me look like a dude.

Well, that won't be too hard - I did this last year and the year before that.

I got up and walked into the bathroom with all of my stuff and started the long journey of becoming a dude. I grabbed the ace bandage and started to wrap it around my boobies to flatten out my chest. Then I put on my cami which also pushes down on my chest. I quickly threw on my bullet for my Valentine band tee (Yes! Guys listen to them!) and put on some black skinnies. After that I adjusted my wig, the side burns and did the boyish make up. I know what your thinking. Make up? Why? Well I have to put on a fake nose and put cover up on to match that color. Suddenly someone was beating on the door.  

"Chris, what the heck?! Hurry up and get out! I only have ten minutes to get ready before we go eat!" Ryan yelled still banging on the door.  

"in coming, I'm coming. Chill man." I shouted in a deep voice. I opened the door to see Ryan outside the bathroom with his legs crossed doing a potty dance. His face was all crunched up and red. I gusse he has to pee really bad. Haha. He rushed past and slammed the door shut. I put my clothes away and grabbed my board and phone.  

"Hey! How's camp? Ausie is really boring without my best friend in the whole wide world to hang out with!" Christy texted me.  

"I'm sorry you're bored! Isn't Zander around to hang out with you? Or should I said make out with you?' I replied. I laughed to myself.

My phone buzzed as I was getting my DC's on. 

"Haha - very funny. You know he went to his grammies over the summer, something about her being ill or something like that." Christy wrote back. I rolled my eyes and laughed a little not knowing Ryan was watching me.

"Who you talking to? Ya girlfriend?" He asked with a... uhm teasing tone?

"Nah, just one of ma friends back home." I said getting my music up and my earphones out. I can not skate with out my music. I had to do it once last year and I broke my arm in three places. I had to tell Alex that I fell down the stairs. Luckily he believed me. 

We both walked out to get something to eat. Yum pancakerrrs. Yes you read right. I call them pancakerrrs. haha.At home when I stack ten onto my plate I get funny looks from my brother and his friends. And now Ryan also gave me a funny look. 

After we all ate we went back to our cabins to clean up.  While I was moving my bag my tampons fell out. 

I didn't notice until Ryan picked them up and stood there like an idiot saying "Uhmm."

I turned around and saw what he was holding. i was raking my brain for a good excuse.

"Oh, thats where she left them!" I said 'surprised'. 

"Where who left what?" He asked still looking like a fool.

"Oh, my uhm girlriend" i lied easily to him. "We went camping and she must have left them there. She has been looking for them." I said still lying.

He looked....relieved? "Okay haha I was worried you were like a secret Drag Queen" he laughed slightly.

I gave him my best horror striken look ever. 

We skated for a few hours not stopping til lunch. Then went back to skating. Around five we all got some relax time until dinner at six. I went back to the cabin to sleep and woke up right before the bell was rung telling us it was dinner, which was  chicken. I am a Vegitarian and i will not eat chicken. Ryan took it and I ate my delicious mashed patatoes. After that we all crashed on the Rech room and in our cabins.
