jungkook happily dried her hair with a towel as yeonji sat on the floor.

"all done." jungkook placed the towel on the couch and got up to help yeonji. "aigo~" jungkook pulled her up and hugged at her waist.

"gomawo, oppa." she pecked at his lips.

jungkook smiled and brushed the hair out of her face. "anything."

~~

"she has weak bones. she must be careful."

"thank you doctor."

"mr.jeon."

"yes sir."

"keep my daughter safe."

"of course, sir."

~~

jungkook held close to yeonji while she slept. he couldn't sleep what if something bad happens to her while im asleep? i couldn't deal with the guilt

"jungkook."

his thoughts were broken when yeonji called him.

"yes?"

"don't be scared... im not leaving you... i promise."

jungkook buried his head in her shoulder. "i will stay."

yeonji smiled and fell asleep to jungkook's heartbeat.

~~

morning came and yeonji and jungkook went to the doctor for a check up.

"no broken bones?"

"no."

"pains, strains, or anything?"

"no."

"oh well, i guess you're fine. just try to build up some muscles an your legs so they don't get weak."

"yes, ma'me." yeonji bowed and jungkook bowed slightly.

on their way out the nurse asked fir jungkook.

"yes?"

"doctor lee wants to see you."

"ok."

he opened the door to dr. lee's office. he sat down and bowed politely. "you wanted to see me, dr. lee."

"ah yes, jungkook." he sighed and looked sad.

"is there something wrong?"

"unfortunately yes." he took a deep breath. "yeonji has a rare disease were her bones and muscles will get stiff and eventually go through the body and she might pass."

"is there a cure?"

"no..." dr. lee sighed. he couldn't believe his own daughter had this incurable disease. "its news to both of us, jungkook. i understand how you feel."

jungkook was speechless. incurable disease? no way "does she know? does yeonji know about this?"

dr.lee went silent and opened his mouth again. "you see jungkook, there are things a parent doesn't want their kid to know like we're babies come from and all that. i-" he paused. "i don't want yeonji to be traumatized by this and do nothing with her life, but just to think about this incurable disease she has, you understand jungkook?" jungkook nodded. "there is so much i want yeonji to experience, i don't want this to slow her down."

jungkook nodded. "i understand." he got up and bowed. "it was nice seeing you sir."

"take care jungkook."

jungkook walked out with his head down, all the questions and comments running in his mind.

"so, what did my dad say? you look upset." yeonji brock his train of thought.

"oh nothing." he smiled and held her hand. "gaja?"

she happily nodded.

"jung-oppa, why we here?" yeonji looked at the view of the han river.

jungkook took out a box and bent on one knee.

"jungkook i-" she covered her mouth.

"lee yeonji... you are my miss right, if you leave i'll shed my blood, sweat and tears to find you cuz i feel like i lost my way without out you. please hold me tight and marry me?"

she nodded and cried. "yes!" jungkook smiled wide and slipped the ring on her finger and hugged her tight. "i love you, lee yeonji."

"i love you, jeon jungkook."
