As summer wound down so did the restoration of the estate. All that remained were the fountain in the front of the house, the finishing touches on the massive greenhouse out back, and Miss Davenport's private suite on the third floor. Donovan had considered moving into the private suite but felt it best to keep it just as she had it out of respect for her and so he would have a place to go and visit her rather than going to the grave yard. He felt closest to her up in her room and he wanted to keep what little he had left of her and her memory as it was.
Donovan and Julius's relationship bloomed as well as he had invited his handy man to move in with him and Susan despite the fact he still had not disclosed the fact the house was haunted. He had thought about telling Julius many times over the past few months but he was afraid it would scare him off and he didn't want to lose his lover over a few harmless ghosts.
Susan was not as receptive as Donovan was hoping she would be in the beginning but she warmed up to the idea as she got to know Julius. Julius was an easy going, kind hearted man who had originally migrated to the United States to make a better life for himself and in time hoped to move his mother over from Mexico as well. Unfortunately his mothered passed away a few years back of a heart attack leaving poor Julius alone where he was an only child and his father took off on the two when Julius was only two years old.
Julius was head over high heels in love with Mr. Davenport. Donovan was the kindest man he had ever met and the fact that he was strikingly handsome, well built, and had a big dick only fueled his desire. He insisted on continuing to work for Mr. Davenport even though the two were clearly now an item. The Forman on the project insisted Julius resign due to his violating policy by sleeping with the client but Donovan not wanting Julius to lose his job over something he too was responsible for allowed Julius to turn his resignation in to his company and then turned around and hired him as his own private live in handy man, and grounds keeper.
Donovan had asked that only Julius be allowed up on the third floor where his great aunts suite was located. Even Susan was asked to never go up there un- accompanied out of respect; which she has no issues with. Susan had no desire to explore the dwelling of a dead woman no matter whose aunt she was.
"I am not sure what we will find or what shape her suite is in," Donovan pointed out to Julius before placing the key in the lock.
"Well there is only one way to find out," Julius replied encouraging Donovan to open the door. With a deep breath Donovan turned the key in the lick and with a click that seemed to echo throughout the entire floor the door squeaked slightly open. Gentle pushing it the rest of the way Donovan stepped into lady davenports room for the first time since he was a child.
Flipping the light switch on the room illuminated with the brilliance of a morning sunrise. A massive crystal chandelier hung from the center of the room castings its glow across anything that held still. Both men just stood in awe as they took in the beauty and elegance that lay before them. The room was so large it took up nearly the entire top floor. It resembled a high end penthouse suite in a luxury hotel more than it did a bedroom.
Upon entrance of the grand room there was a sitting area off to the left of the room with elegant furniture made of solid oak and upholstered with the finest silver, blue, and a hint of light purple fabric either had ever laid their eyes on. There was couch that looked like it could easily seat six people, a love seat, and a high backed chair. The backs and arms of the couch, love seat, and chair all were hand carved and each button was perfectly placed; not a one missing. There were three end tables and a coffee table made of sterling silver and blown glass.
