Chapter 2

MoonPaw's P.O.V

MoonPaw shifted in her nest. Ugh, is it day already... she thought and got up, and started out of the Apprentices den. The camp was dark but had some light from the mouth of the cave, and light leaking in from some of the cracks of the cave.

MoonPaw looked to see JayLeap organizing patrols. "Alright, i'll take you, MoonPaw, LeapWing, and RoseFur. ShadeWhisker, can you take the other border patrol?" The white tom nodded and asked. "Who will i take?" JayLeap looked around and than back at ShadeWhisker. "Take NarrowFur, CloudBush, ShellPaw, HoundFang, LionPaw, and DeadFace."

"All that for just a hunting patrol?" Replied ShadeWhisker, with a twitch of his ear.

JayLeap nodded, "It's about the end Leaf-Fall, so we should get ready for Leaf-Bare." Meowed JayLeap than padded to MoonPaw, gesturing with his tail for DoveHeart to follow, the Black she cat followed.

MoonPaw sighed as DoveHeart came closer. JayLeap stood in front of MoonPaw.

"We're-" DoveHeart stopped as MoonPaw interrupted.

"Going on Patrol?"

DoveHeart twitched her ear, MoonPaw did the same as her mentor.

The patrol left camp, they soon split up as DoveHeart decided to teach MoonPaw a fighting move, by doing a little fight.

"Alright, if you don't beat me that's okay, i am a little more experienced than you." She meowed.

MoonPaw suddenly felt time stop for a second as she saw a vision of DoveHeart leaping at her, and DoveHeart tackling at her. Reality snapped back as DoveHeart leaped at her, MoonPaw shifted out of the way. DoveHeart's body fell to the ground, face first.

What...what just happened?! She thought frantically, and turned around to help her mentor.

"Sorry... are you okay?" Asked MoonPaw.

DoveHeart shot a a glare at MoonPaw, than dropped it. "You- You did good." She spat out.

MoonPaw backed up a bit, and flattened her ears. "So.. sorry.." she apologized again.

They soon returned to camp and noticed her brother, LionPaw, in high spirits. HoundFang looked over at MoonPaw, and trotted over.

"Fight, LionPaw. I want to test your strengths." He meowed sternly. The dark brown tom was scary, but she nodded and stood in front of her brother.

LionPaw smirked and shifted his paws, then time stopped again she saw another vision, with LionPaw tackling her, and running to her and pushing her on her side.

Time snapped back to reality, MoonPaw leaped back as LionPaw tried to tackle her, but barreled into the hard sandy ground. MoonPaw ran up to him and pushed him on his back, and put her paw on his neck.

LionPaw sighed and meowed. "This was the outcome..."

MoonPaw got off, and sighed. MoonPaw saw HoundFang looking at LionPaw and her with slight disgust and praise.

MoonPaw whispered in LionPaw's ear. "I need to talk to you."

The two met up in the corner of camp.

"What did you mean... 'this was the outcome'?" She asked LionPaw, he looked at her. An unfamiliar look in his bright blue eyes.

"I... had a vision? Or... prediction? Something... that showed me what would happen at the end of the battle."

MoonPaw was shocked, this was what happened to her to.

"I did too! It showed me the possibilities of what you would do as your first move!" She meowed with excitement.

"Does this mean we have powers?! Should we tell PikeStar?!" He asked.

"No, let's wait and see if anyone else has had this happen to them."

"How about we wait a moon, and see PikeStar."

The two nodded and padded away.
