Warriors Blinding Stars

Chapter 1

RiverKit's P.O.V

RiverKit watched his brothers wrestle, as he sat at the mouth of the nursery. Suddenly he was tackled by a black, speckled pelt.

"Hey, are you ever gonna get off your sorry butt, and play?" Asked MoonKit.

Maybe I don't wanna play, he thought and just groaned and pushed off his sister, who was smaller than him.

"Fine, I'll play." He pouted, and got up. MoonKit only laughed and trotted away with her ears pointed up.

"Come on, RiverKit! You said you'd play!" Called MoonKit, looking back at RiverKit, he sighed and followed and pounced onto MoonKit, pinning her down.

"Hey! LionKit, LynxKit, OwlKit! Attack!" She yowled. Oh great... here they come... he thought and was tackled by the three kits, MoonKit, called over.

"Get off me, Mouse-Brains!" Growled RiverKit, and struggled to get out.

"Then say 'I lose,' and we'll let you go!" Replied OwlKit. RiverKit growled a bit and sighed.

"Fine... I lose.." He grumbled, and the kits got off. RiverKit got up and shook his now dusty pelt.

"LionKit, MoonKit, you know better than to team up on your brother." Meowed PikeStar, as he helped RiverKit up on his paws.

"But he's no fun!" Retorted LionKit, and stomped the ground with his front paw. PikeStar shook his head and put a paw on his head.

"You know better than to team up on him though." Replied PikeStar, LionKit only gave a little growl and looked at RiverKit.

"I'm sorry." He meowed and padded away. I know that they don't like me, it's cause he thinks PikeStar favors me over him, He thought angrily, he felt a paw on his shoulder.

"It's okay, RiverKit. I know your a good kit, and I know your brother and sister loves you." Meowed PikeStar.

"Yeah... they do." He lied and padded away. I know they don't like me, it'll be like this for a while, till I can prove I'm just like them! Thought RiverKit as he saw his mother cleaning ShellKit, she stopped and looked up at him.

"Hello RiverKit!" Purred MeadowFang. RiverKit gave a slight nod and looked at his youngest sister.

"Hey, ShellKit." Meowed RiverKit, as he pawed his sister. ShellKit looked up at him and smiled.

"Hey, RiverKit!" She meowed, and got up and stood in front of him. I just realized... I'm older than her, but she's taller than me by a paw step... he thought as he noticed the size of his sister compared to him.

"Wanna see what, DoePaw is doing? I know you like to see what she does." Mewed RiverKit, ShellKit nodded and the two kits padded to the Familiars Den.

They entered the Star Watcher's Den to see DoePaw talking to nothing.

"Well, that's not how it works... you see you just throw the moss and catch it." Meowed DoePaw, as she stared at the blank wall.

RiverKit whispered to ShellKit. "I think she's got bees in her brain." DoePaw turned around and looked at ShellKit and RiverKit. "Hey Kits!" She meowed.

ShellKit smiled. "Hi, DoePaw!" She meowed, and leaped over to her. RiverKit sighed, again... there she goes... i'm alone again... he thought, and padded out of the Star Watcher's den.

Moons Later

PikeStar padded onto the high rock. "All Cats Old Enough To Catch Their Own Prey, Come To The HighRock For A Clan Meeting!" He yowled, the cats of the clan gathered.

"Today we're here to see these kits become apprentices." Yowled PikeStar, he was looking directly at RiverKit. Ugh... now i'm feeling sick... He Thought as he felt embarrassment stab at him.

"Now, LynxKit, from this day on, until you earn your Warrior Name, you will be known as LynxPaw, WishLight, you will be his mentor, please guide him with calmness, and Wisdom. JuniperKit, from this day on, until you get your warrior name, you will be known as JuniperPaw, FoxClaw, you shall be her mentor, guide her with a open mind and teach her your skills and abilities..." He continued, but RiverKit Stopped listening.

He perked his head up as he heard his name. "And finally ShellKit, until you get your Star Watcher name, you shall be known as ShellPaw, CloudBush, teach her with the wisdom of StarClan, and to fight like a Lion, meeting dismissed." He finished and padded down the rocks.

Wait What?! Who's My Mentor!? What Just Happened!? What?! His mind was flooded with questions, he padded over to MoonPaw embarrassingly.

"He..hey whose who's whose mentor?" He asked and dropped his tail down.

"Ugh! You mouse brain! Okay, LynxPaw's mentor is WishLight, and JuniperPaw's mentor is FoxClaw, OwlKit's mentor is CrookedTail, SunPaw's Mentor is StormWing, BlackPaw's Mentor is YarrowClaw, and My Mentor is DoveHeart, CliffPaw's mentor is TurtleHeart, LionPaw's mentor is HoundFang,  ShellPaw's is CloudBush, and Yours is LightStep." She finished and rolled her eyes, then padded off to DoveHeart.

I'm such a mouse brain... he thought and trotted over to lightStep.
