Another Love Story?

Chapter 4

~Paytynn's p.o.v~

I never knew that being motionless and in the dark for so long would be like that. My feelings were undescribable. I knew I wasn't dead, but maybe I was close, or maybe not. I don't know but I felt like I had been here long enough. I slowly forced my eyes open only to see a white room around me.. where was I?? what happened? All kinds of questions flowed through my head. Then I looked to my right.. there was a boy, sitting there, starring at me like a child would stare at a tree on Christmas morning. Did I know him?? Why was he here? Why was he starring at me. I finally asked him who he was and he replied with Austin.. who was Austin and why did he say he was my best friend. Should I remember him? Why can't I? My dad let's me hang out with a boy? Wait who was my dad? Did I even have a dad? My gosh this was so frusterating!! I wish I could just know everything again. Just then two little girls, an older boy and an older man came in the room. The older man ran over to me, eyes filled with tears, saying over and over "Paytynn, are you awake? Can you hear me?" Wo was Paytynn.. wait.. obviously it's me, that's why he's calling me that but who was he? And who were all these other people? WHY DIDN"T I KNOW ANYTHING??!!

The doctor sent Paytynn home after a couple days to make sure she was ok. He said the amnisea would wear off in a few days but until then just treat her like they normally would. So they all went home and tried to find things that she might remember to bring back her memory alittle.

(1 week later)

~Paytynn~

I finally remembered my house and my siblings names but there was this one guy that kept coming to my house. He said his name was Austin and he was my best friend, but I don't remember him. I mean, shouldn't you remember your best friend?? I really want to remember him but I can't and it frustrates me. I heard a knock at the door and then someone coming up the stairs. It was probably Austin again, he had been over a lot lately. I looked over at my door and there he was, standing outside of my door. I motioned him to come in and he sat down on my bed.

"Hey Paytynn"

"Hey"

"How's your head?"

"It hurts alittle but not as much"

"That's good"

"Yepp"

He sat there for awhile, just staring at me. He looked sad, broken. What was wrong with him? Why did I feel like it was my fault? Maybe he knows I don't remember him. Come on Paytynn!! He's your BEST FRIEND! Remember him!!

"Ummm.... Paytynn?"

"What?"

"Remember right before your accident, when me and you were at the track, and I was singing your song to you under the bleachers?"

"Yeaa... What about it?"

"It's ok if yo- wait.. you DO remember??!! Oh my god!! You remember!!"

He hugged me, picked me up, and spun me around my room. We laughed and fell on the ground. He spun us so I landed on top of him. I started to think bout when we were under the bleachers. I remembered that right after the song we sat there starring at eachother. Then I remembered his phone going off and me standing up. Were we about to kiss?? I should have. I've wanted to forever. I looked into his eyes. Jeez, they were the most beautiful hazel eyes ever!! He must have known I was starring at him because he smiled at me. God, that smile was perfect!! HE was perfect. I should do it. I should just kiss him. I mean what's the worst thing that could happen, Him not kiss back?? I don't have to worrry about that though. If I remember right, He said he would love to kiss me. Do it Paytynn, COME ON!! You know you want to so just do it. I leaned in and he met me in the middle, and I swear, right then, we were the only ones on earth.

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been working on my other story and I've had basketball pratice. But basketball's over so I should be able to update more.
