Chapter 9

~Paytynn~

After 3 more days, we finally made it home from our little road trip back from Michigan. I dropped my stuff by my closet and jumped onto my bed, just barely missing it. Gahhhh!! I missed my bed soo much! I just wanna sleep for 3 days. I turned on my radio and climbed under my covers. before I knew it, was knocked out.

~Austin~

I walked over to Paytynn's house and Carsyn answered.

"Haven't had enough of us yet?"

"Never, where's Pay?"

"Upstairs"

"Ok.. can I come in?"

"No" he laughed as he moved to the side for me to enter. I walked up the stairs to her room. I knocked but she didn't answer so I opened the door a little and found her passed out on her bed. You would think she slept enough in the car! I closed to door, sat on her bed next to her and got on Twitter. About 5 minutes after she rolled over and her hand payed on my leg. I grabbed it an locked our fingers together. She squeezed my hand and I looked down at her.

"Well hi there sleepy"

"Hey"

"Wanna go do something?"

"Like?"

"I don't know, we could go meet up with the boys to see a movie or something."

"Movie and ok, you call Alex and Rob and I got Zack, should I ask Tyler or.."

"No.. he's probably to busy with his new friends to talk to us"

"Alright"

Tyler decided we weren't good enough for him so he stopped talking to us.

We all met up at the mall and went to see what movies were out.

"I WANNA SEE IRON MAN!!" Alex yelled.

"You guys up for it?"

Everyone nodded and we got our tickets and went in. I bought me an Paytynn some skittles and we walked in to find some seats. I sat on the end next to Paytynn, then it was Alex, Sarah, Rob, and Zack. Some guys sitting behind us kept flirting with my Paytynn. Yes. I was jealous. So I grabbed her hand and kissed her on the cheek. That didn't stop them so I turned her face and kissed her on her lips. She pulled away and kissed my cheek before going back to the movie. I turned around and smiled at the guys. I had proven my point.

**3 weeks later**

~Austin~

"Hey Austin! you know.. Prom is coming soon.. Have you asked Paytynn yet?"

"No Alex, I have not asked Paytynn yet." I shut my locker and headed out of the hell hole.

"You better hurry. She needs time to pick her dress and you have to get a tie to match."

"I don't even know when her schools dance is, what if they are on the same night and she wants to go to hers instead?"

"We both know she would rather be with you"

"Fine, I'll as her this weekend"

"Imma hold you up to it"

"Whatever"

When I got home, I went straight to my mom.

"Hey mom, I was planning to ask this one girl to the dance this weekend-"

"Paytynn?"

"Well yeaa but, I wanted to make it special.. could you help me?"

"Sure.. i'll decorate the backyard with lights an candles and you can sing a song and we will have a chair out there that someone will lead her to and when you finish singing, you can get down on one knee and give her the necklace. But you have to be a gentleman about it. You will give her the rainbow roses that she likes, and say 'Paytynn Marie Miller, would you be my date to prom?'. Then it's up to her from there."
