Merry Christmas Marinette

Adorable

The swelling in my ankle has gone down quite a bit since last night's visit from Chat noir. I start blushing. I still can't believe Chat cared so much he took the time to visit me. I get up and start getting ready for school. Today still wanting to hide my legs I search my closet for my latest design. I had never planned on actually wearing it but because of last night's encounter I've changed my mind. I check the time and see that there's only ten minutes until classes started and head downstairs and cross the road after saying goodbye to my parents. I stop in the entrance to the school courtyard and search for my friends and see Alya, Nino and Adrien standing in the corner signalling for me to go join them.

Alya starts waving, curious as to who I turn around and my jaw hits the floor. There standing in the centre of the school gates is Marinette who is wearing a new outfit again today. She has on black and green high tops with black tights and a dress. The dress is fitting and black on the top and widens out to a green skater style skirt below the waist with a leather jacket over the top. She has traded her purse for a glossy black backpack. She has also kept her signature pigtails. She looks adorable. Wait, what adorable? No only Ladybug is adorable. I stop chiding myself as she comes towards us. "Hey guys." She says smiling. Closer up I notice her tights have a pattern of small paw prints woven into them as well as a small black paw print on the bottom of her dress as well. I suddenly realise that this outfit is dedicated to me, well Chat noir and my jaw drops even further. "Girl I didn't think it was possible but you look even cuter than yesterday." Alya says admiring her clothes. I suddenly hear a whisper in my ear, "Dude your jaw can't drop much lower and you couldn't be more obvious." I turn around while shutting my mouth, "Obvious about what? I don't like her in that way Nino. I'm just surprised she would wear an outfit based on Chat noir that's all." I say defensively. "Mhmm. Anyway she isn't just wearing it she made it too." Nino says. "No she didn't Marinette wouldn't waste her time on clothes based off Chat noir." I say turning back to face Marinette and Alya who was saying, "So this is your own design right? You made this?" "Yeah and it took me ages but I finally got it right." Marinette answers. I can basically feel Nino smirking behind me. " You made that?" I say in astonishment. "Yeah. Do you like it." She asks spinning on the spot. After I stay quiet and just give her look that says 'are you serious how could I not like it'. She hastily says, "Of course it's nothing compared to your fathers standards and the clothes you wear in your photosh-" "It's fabulous Marinette. You look adorable. In fact I would be honoured to wear something like it in a photoshoot soon do you think you could make some winter themed clothing similar for boys and girls? Maybe even some ladybug clothes as well? I could convince my dad to let me wear them for a photoshoot if I can show him some designs." After minutes of silence from a gaping Marinette I continue by saying, "You know only if you want to Mari." She just continues staring. "You broke her." States Alya, "And you know what they say you break my best friend, I break you." "No that's ok Alya I'm fine." Marinette says hurriedly snapping back to reality. "Sooooo?" I ask. "I'll try. When do you want the designs?" I break into a smile and answer, "Well today's the 21st of September so maybe the 9th is that ok?" "Yeah that's plenty of time." She replies smiling widely.

He called me adorable!!!!! I can't believe Adrien Agreste called me adorable! Sure he's said it a couple of times before when Alya and Nino were pressuring him but he's never said it when I'm wearing one of my own designs. I still can't believe he wants me to design some more clothes like this for boys as well maybe even some Ladybug ones too. He also wants to wear them in a photoshoot. I start to imagine Adrien in Chat noir clothing. Wait a minute if there is girl clothing as well there will have to be a girl model as well. And since those photos came out everyone thinks Chat and I are in love so the will probably be in romantic poses. "Earth to Marinette." I hear and snap out of my thoughts. "Yeah coming." I say as I see my friends walking to class ahead of me. I catch up to Alya and walk beside her. When we get to class Nino goes through the door but Adrien stops and waits. Alya and I exchange confused glances. When we reach the door Adrien says, "Mari can I talk to you?" "Sure.", I reply and we wait for Alya to go inside, "What do you want to talk about?" "Well when you kind of zoned out back there you ended up having a sad expression on your face. Are you sure you want to do this? You don't have to if you don't want to." Embarrassed I start to blush, " No really I'd love to do it. I was just thinking about something else." Adrien looks at me expectantly. "It doesn't matter." I say trying to hide my sadness and turn to go into the classroom. "Please you can tell me." Adrien begs. "No I can't and it doesn't matter I'm fine." I reply walking into the classroom while blushing.

I really want to know what was bothering Mari but if she said she's ok she must be right? Anyway it's really hard not to look back at her when she's wearing that outfit she looks soooo cute.

Adrien kept looking at Marinette all the time today. At least he's not looking at Alya because that's completely against the bro code to check out someone else's crush. And that IS what he's doing, he's checking out Marinette. At the end of class I go up to him while he has a dreamy expression on his face, "Hey dude thinking about Marinette??" "No!" He says shocked. I just give him a knowing look before he breaks and says, "Ok yes but only because I can't wait to see her designs." "Then what's with the dreamy face?" I ask smirking. All he says is, "I did not have a dreamy face." before leaving quickly.
