Chapter 1
It started, when they met at his house. Morgan Ray, long-time buddy of Desmond Town, was invited to spend the night at Desmond’s sister’s house, at her ‘matchmaker sleepover’. Also invited were Anna ‘Caramel’ Jones, her two sisters, Amy and Natasha and Desmond’s other buddies, Ramone and Jonathon. All were single apart from Jonathon and Desmond’s sister Denise. Ramone wasn't a familiar figure but Desmond had been friends with him since kindergarten, the two hadn't met since their move to Verity County in middle school, despite this the two kept up a correspondence and Desmond decided he would introduce him to his best buddies Jonathon and Morgan.
11 a.m. on February 1st
Morgan’s POV
It’s finally here! February 1st! Can’t believe I actually get to meet Denise again, and stay at her place! Maybe things between her and Jon will have cooled down a bit! I really honestly wished Des would’ve let me stay with her instead of Jon, who knows I might’ve gotten her months ago?!
I put down the steaming cup of coffee and stared dreamily into space, thinking of Denise and what I would do when I saw here later that day.
Anna’s POV
I can’t believe I actually agreed to this sleepover! What was I thinking? And bringing along Amy and Natasha? There’ll be no rest! I hope the boys there won’t be thick enough to not see through them, they’re too …. Urghh….
As the kettle whistled, I threw my towel on the rack, put on some shorts and a top, turned off the kettle and made my way to the house opposite mine.
Those girls better be ready by now, it’s practically noon and I haven’t heard a thing! If they’re still in their worlds I am so not bringing them along! I’ve gotten up done some of my work and changed already for the lunch meeting! They’d better get up quick if they want to go tonight!
