Notice His Smile (KageHina)

Chapter 8

Hinata's POV

     I woke up.

     I don't remember falling asleep.

     Wait. Yes I do.

     The last thing I remember is being in Kageyama's arms. And him carrying me to the infirmary. Then I basically blacked out.

     I was about to move when the school nurse walked in.

     "Oh, you're finally awake. I have called your mother to come get you. You don't have any horrible injuries-" the nurse dragged on but I wasn't listening. I was replaying all of what happened before I passed out.

     I was walking to the gym.

     I was happy and thinking of Kageyama.

     Then some guy on the track team kicked me and said that I was worthless.

     And he said that I should die.

     No.

     That I should kill myself.

     "Honey. Honey. Are you listening?" the nurse said snapping me out of daze.

     "Y-Yes" ,I stuttered out. The nurse gave a sigh and repeated what she probably just said.

     "Those scars on your thighs aren't because of the bully, are they?"

     I shook my head 'no' not trusting my voice.

     "Ok. Well would you like me tell your mother?"

     I, again, shook my head 'no'.

     "Well, its your decision. Anyway, your mother will be here in a little while" And with that the nurse, left me to my own thoughts.

     It was quite.

     Then it wasn't.

     I heard shuffleing of feet outside the door. Then the door opened and Kageyama and the team burst through the door.

     "Hinata!" ,the all yelled, not even in unison. All I heard was a jumble of "are you ok" "what happened" "why would someone do this"

     Then out of all the voices of my teammates, I heard one in particular.

     "Who did this to you?" ,Kageyama said, fists clenched, and with the most terrifying look on his face. The team stopped talking all at once.

     "I-I don't k-know. S-someone on the t-track team" ,I said. At this point I'm surprised that anything came out of my mouth at all.

     Kageyama looked furious, and soon the team started to catch on. Even Suga looked a little mad, then he said something.

     "Well, we'll go to the office and tell them what happened. The guy who did this to you will definitely get punished." He sounded like he cared but I was still terrified. "Kageyama. Stay with him while we go to the office."

     Kageyama didn't say anything, he just nodded his head 'yes', his fists still clenched. The team left and Kageyama sat down on one of the chairs beside the bed.

     "So...." ,Kageyama started, "Are you okay?" His voice is so soothing and deep I could melt.

     "Y-Yeah. I guess" He looks onto my eyes. I notice that his eyes aren't just black but a deep blue. I am just staring into his eyes when the core slowly swings open and my mom and sister poor into the room.

     "Shouyou! Shouyou!" Natsu yells and climbs on to the bed I was laying on and hugs me. I hug her back of course, even though it hurt.

     "Oh. Shouyou. Are you okay?" ,my mom says. She looks like she is about to explode from worry.

     "Yes Mom. I'm okay" I reassure her.

     "Okay. Oh, honey, who is this?" My mom asks pointing to Kageyama after she notices that there is someone else in the room.

     "That's Kageyama Tobio" I say knowing that she will immediately know who I'm talking about. I talk about Kageyama so much I don't even realize it anymore.

     "Oh. Well, I'm glad to meet you Kageyama Tobio"

     Kageyama stands up and does a little bow and says "Yes. You too ma'am". Kageyama sits down and Natsu goes over to him.

     "Your tall. Much taller than Shouyou." I mentally facepalm.

     Kageyama looks over to Natsu then to me then back to Natsu. Then he does something that I haven't seen him do before....... He giggles.

     He smiles and giggles. His smile is so pretty. I cab feel the butterflies in my stomach start to go crazy.

     "Haha! She's like a little Hinata!" Kageyama giggles out. My heart starts to pound and I just know my face is red.

     "I'm not Shouyou. I'm Natsu" my little sister says with a big smile.

     "Nice to meet ya, Natsu" Kageyama says. Everything he does just makes me feel all fluttery inside.

     "Oh Tobio. Why don't you come over to our house for dinner, since you are such good friends with Shouyou and apparently Natsu?" My mom says.

     "I'd have to check with my mother first, bit I'd love to come over for dinner".

Time skip!!!! 'Cause I'm a lil lazy

     Kageyama came over and ate dinner. Befor we finished dinner I realized that I had missed the day, and the lesson. Kageyama agreed that he would help me study. I was glad. Kegeyama and I would be alone in room. I couldn't keep from blushing a little. And I think my mom noticed because once we left for my room, she gave me a wink.

     Kageyama and I studied until I got cold and cuddled up in my blankets on my bed. Kageyama looked over to me and I swore I could see him blush. He then got up and sat down next to me.

     We sat in comfortable silence until I took a risk and tried to do something. I rested my head on Kageyama's shoulder. He looked at me with a suprized expression. I quickly took my head away and hid my face behind my blanket.

     "Sorry" I mutter quitely. I can feel him move and then he took the blanket off my face and held my wrists with his hands.

     "Shouyou?" Kageyama said his voice so deep and so quiet that it almost sounded like a growl. The way he said my name, the position we were in. He had climbed almost ontop of me. Everything he did set off more butterflies in my stomack. Especially now.

     He was doing something. I didn't notice it until he was so close I could feel his breath. Kageyama was leaning in to....kiss me.

     When Kageyama finally got close enough that our lips were brushing up against each other, leaned in officially starting the kiss.
