Chapter 16

Kaneki's POV

The pain started. Again. I lost count of how many toes and fingers that sadist cut off me.

'5..3..8,' I mangaed to croak out.

I was told by Jason to count back 7 from 1000, probably to keep me sane.

'ARGH..Gh,gh,gh,gh...' the pain is excruciating.

Finally, it stopped.

It stopped. Finally.

I took in a huge breath to calm myself down, and my lungs gladly accepted the cool oxygen. My throat is now burning from screaming too much, and it hurts just by swallowing.

I was twitching, probably from the pain and insanity slowly consuming me. I felt Jason wrap his arms around my shoulders, and I flinch at his touch. (A/N Istg I DID NOT think of Killing Stalking, I swear)

He removed the blindfold, and for once in a few hours, or even days, months, I saw light. However, I was surrounded with blood. It was not a pleasant sight.

Jason held up a centipede, which is wriggling, trying to get out from his grasp.

'Now... I wonder, what will happen if I put this in your ear, will it eat you from inside out? Will you feel extreme pain? Probably. It will now reach into your ear, Ka-ne-ki,'

I watch in horror, and I struggled against the thick, metal chains that bound my hands, body and legs to this chair, desperate to escape. The centipede neared my ear, and I beg for time to stop, to allow me some time to get out of this hell room. The centipede got closer and closer, and finally... it entered my ear, my insides, my sanity, my body, my soul.

All I felt was pain, insanity taking over me, and a maniac's laugh.

Tears streamed down my face as I screamed, struggled, and begged for the pain to stop countless times, but reality and my helplessness were cruel.

After the pain had subsided a little, and I stopped screaming, but instead, whimpered every few seconds, Jason went out of the room.

I look down at the bloody floor, with my tears dripping on the little, half-dried puddles. Rize appeared before me.

'So.. What have you gotten into again, due to the lack of your power?'

'Rize...'

Yes yes I know it's a short chapter again..

However, I don't mind doing an Ayato x reader one short over on my other book. What do you guys think? Comment if you guys want one!

Let's see if anyone actually reads my notes, since they've been bloody long these few chapters..
