🌸Acantha's POV🌸
"Dear Acantha?", a voice ringed in my ears,"Wake up, sleepyhead! Haha." I grumbled and left no choice, but to wake up from my sleep. It was bad enough leaving my parents. "I guess it doesn't cost any money...", I said. I grabbed my vintage brown suitcase and made sure I didn't leave anything behind. Then, I set off on my journey towards Duskfall Rufus Pack.
The beta, Derrick, was there to guide me to the pack. "Are you Acantha? The rogue who's joining Duskfall Rufus Pack?, Derrick asked me. "Yes, I'm Acantha.", I replied obidiently. "Good girl. Now let's go. The Alpha's waiting.", Derrick patted my head, as if I were 10 years old. I cringed and shot him a smile and set off. We ran inhuman speed, and soon reached the one and only... Duskfall Rufus Pack. By the time we reached there, both me and Derrick were huffing and panting. "Thanks for running with me, um...", I mumbled.
"Derrick. You can call me Derrick.", he said. "Thanks, Derrick.", I finished.
Then, we entered the building...

"Welcome to, Duskfall Rufus Pack...", Derrick spoke. "It's, it's... undescribable in a nice way...", I gaped at the whole building. Derrick chuckled behind my back. "Alright, you gaping fish, let's get you to the Alpha's office!", he sighed. "Excuse me- gaping fish?", I asked. "Whatever. Let's hurry. The Alpha will kill me if we don't go now.", Derrick sounded nervous. Stifling a laugh, I shrugged and walked behind Derrick. We stopped in-front of the Alpha's office soon enough.
"Alpha Blake? The rogue, Acantha, is here.", Derrick sounded confident all of a sudden. "Very well, Derrick. Come in with the rogue.", was all we heard. Derrick opened the door and stepped inside. I followed him right after, and closed the door. "Leave. I will summon you when needed, Derrick. Thank you.", the Alpha finally decided. Derrick gave a slight nod and left. I stared at the Alpha intensely and the Alpha just stared at me confidently, and said, "Do you feel anything, Acantha?", he asked. "Like what type of feeling, Alpha?", I questioned carefully. "Like statics shock, or a spark inside you, of course!", the alpha laughed. "Yes, just before I came in. W-Why?", I stuttered. "Y-You're my mate.", were the three words he said, looking absolutely shocked.
My vision blurred. Suddenly, everything went went black. The last voice I heard was, "Get Heather, the healer! Quickly!" After that was scattering of feet. Then I heard nothing...
Yay! I finally wrote a long chapter! I'm so happy! I have loads of ideas coming up, but eventually, I shall run out of ideas... Ugh... Most hateful thing when writing a story... Anyway, this chapter was the easiest so far to write! Please feel happy for me. Hope you enjoyed!
