Chapter 21

"What are you doing here?" You ask rusty-James. "I wanted you to come back to New York with me." He said walking up to you and Jamie. "You were supposed to go back to New York." You said. "I don't play by the rules blaze. You of all people should know that doll." He said smiling at you. You were ready for a fight. You and Jamie could take him. Both of you knew his every weakness and how to use it against him. "Doll why don't you make it easy and just come back to New York with me. We can forget that all of this happened and you both can be happy." James said putting an arm on yours and Jamie's shoulder. You both  pushed it off. "Never in a million years are we gonna go with you" Jamie said spitting at James feet. You whistled the whistle the guys taught you. You weren't very far from the Curtis house. James didn't hear. His hearing was to far gone. As soon as Jamie spat at James feet he threw a punch hitting Jamie in the cheek. You hit James in the face. You felt horrible for hitting him. But you had to. You Jamie and James were in a full on fight when the guys came running to where you guys were. "Dang it blaze. I told you to stay out of trouble." Dal said along with a few other choice words. Then he realized it was James. "Did Blaze go soft? That she has to have her big brother to protect her." James said pulling out his blade. You and Jamie both went for your blades. There was a fire in your eyes now for sure. You Jamie and James all circled. When you got where the guys could you motioned for them to stay out of it. It still wasn't fair. Two against one but you all knew each other's weaknesses.  Rusty-James stabbed at you. You dodged it then tried getting him. He didn't dodged fast enough. He got a long cut down his arm. Then he tried to stab and Jamie. She jumped nearly missing the top of his blade. James got cut by Jamie down the other arm. James jabbed at you then Jamie. Darry was doing all he could to keep soda from jumping in the fight. Dal stood there knowing that you could fight. When you looked over rusty-James  cut your arm. Then Jamie went for his legs and tackled Hume to the ground. He fell to the ground and cut Jamie in the process. When soda seen the blood run down your arm he just about went crazy. You kept up the fight though. Jamie was holding James down and your were punching him he dropped his blade. Not slowing your punches kicked his blade over to where dal could pick it up. As soon as dal picked up the blade James got his way out of Jamie's grip. He wiped the blood from his nose. "This is not the last of me." He said taking of running backwards and down the street. You and Jamie got up and picked up your blades. For the first time you realized that you and Jamie had both been cut up pretty bad. You and Jamie screamed in victory. Soda ran up to you like a mad man. "Chill soda it's just a few cuts" you said looking at him. You had blood running from both arms and your left calf. Soda picked you up and carried you all the way back to the Curtis house. "Babe your over reacting." You say. "Blaze your bleeding." Soda said still carrying you with the Jamie and the rest of the guys behind you. Dal was trying to convince Jamie to let him carry her. It was so funny you couldn't help but laughing. Soda carried you and and Steve started singing like a idiot "here comes the bride far fat and wide." He said laughing. Soda carried you to the kitchen and put you on the counter. "Let me clean you up." Soda said wetting a rag and grabbing medicine from the cabinet. "I'm alright soda." You said hopping off the counter. "At least let me wipe the blood off" he said looking at your bloody arms. "Ok." You said sitting back on the counter. "Blaze call of your brother." Jamie yelled while dal was carrying her inside. "Dal put here down" you said walking off while soda wiped the blood off your arm. Dal reluctantly put her down. "You have James blade?" You asked dal. "Yeah why do you want it?" He asked eyeing you. "I gave it to him and it ain't cheap man." You said holding your hand out for the blade. He gave it to you. You looked at it for a while. "Can I go change now?" You asked dal. "As long as Jamie goes with you." He said. "Like I was gonna leave her here with you." You said rolling your eyes at dal. You and blaze took off out the door to bucks to go change like you were gonna do in the first place.
