"Blaze come here." The voice said. "Never am I going to come to you in a million years rusty-James" you yelled at the figure chasing you. "Blaze what happened to us?" You must have screamed in your sleep and didn't know it because soda was shaking you. "Babe. Blaze. What's wrong?" Soda was saying trying to wake you up. All you could do was grab soda and hold onto him for dear life. "Did you have a bad dream?" Soda asked. You shook your head yes holding on tighter. "You wanna tell me what it was about." Soda asked you brushing your hair out of your face. "Rusty-James. He was back he had hurt Steve and he had you and the rest of the guys on chains. He finally caught me. I was running. I fell and he caught me. He took me where you guys were." You said the last words you voice was starting to crack. "Shhh babe its alright. We're going to go see Steve in a little bit ok and I promise the rest of the guys are alright. Ok" he said holding you tight. "You wanna go get some cake?" Soda asked. Making you smile. "Sure." You said getting up with him and going to the kitchen. All the guys were already up. "You two finally decided to get up huh?" Two bit asked. "No. I had a nightmare. We both woke up. What time is it?" You asked. "Hey sis" dal says giving you a hug. "Hey Dal" you say thoughts still foggy from sleep. "It's 7:30. What was your dream about blaze." Darry said kinda worried. You looked over at soda. "Oh nothing important" you said still looking at soda who was getting a big piece of cake for you and him to share. "It must have been something Blaze." Dal said looking at you. "Blaze remember when you were little and had that dream about something. I can't even remember what it was now but it happened later?" Dallas asked looking straight into your eyes. "Yeah. That's the way all my dreams are.When I do dream." You said in sudden realization. "Oh god." You said putting your hand over your mouth with a gasp. "Tell me what you dreamt blaze." Dal said grabbing your hands. "Rusty-James is coming back. I think he is the one who hurt Steve." You said looking like you seen a ghost. "Blaze. Tell me your whole dream." Darry said taking interest now. "Rusty-James was after me. I was running. I stumbled and fell. He caught me. He threw me over his shoulder and took me to a place I had never seen before. Steve was laying on the ground like he was when we found him. He had all of your hands in chains hooked up to a wall. And that's all that happened before Soda woke me up. Not that I'm complaining. I was scared guys." You said looking back and forth between Darry and dally. You took a bite of cake from the fork Soda was holding up for you. He smiled at you taking the bite of cake he was going to eat. "Ya know what. I think I need to call Jamie." You said taking another bite of cake from soda. "Call her right now she is one of the only people who can tell you for sure where rusty is and what he is planning to do." "Dal I don't think that what happened in my dream is gonna happen but I think he hurt Steve and that he will be back." You said walking over to the phone. "Who will be back?" Pony said walking into the kitchen. "The howler monkey" you said as two-bit walked into the kitchen. "What did I do to you Blaze?" Two asked looking at you. You dialed Jamie's phone number and waited for her to answer. "Hello" Jamie's Brooklyn accent said into the phone. "Jamie" you said into the phone. "Blaze! Girl I was so worried about you. Where are you?" She asked sounding really happy. "I know. I'm sorry. I couldn't tell you where I was going before I left. I didn't have time. I'm in Tulsa with Dallas." You said. Dallas broke in. "Blaze enough with the girl talk get to the chase" he yelled. "Shut up Dal" you yelled getting back to the phone call. "Anyway Jamie I had a dream." "So did Martin Luther king jr." Jamie said with a laugh. You couldn't help but laugh to. "I know that smartie. Listen though is James in New York? You asked afraid of the answer. "He went to Tulsa for you, he just said that's where he was going he never said that you were there but I do now. Anyway I haven't seen him. And if he was coming back he would have already been back." She said. "Great. That's the last thing I really wanna hear right now." You say. "Why? What's going on blaze." Jamie says new worry starting to form in her voice. "One of dals friends well their mine to and I have some stuff to tell you as far as that goes. But anyway one of them got jumped yesterday. He was hurt pretty bad. Broke arm leg and ribs. With several stitches. And then I had the dream last night." You say. "Blaze do you want me to come down there?" She asked. "Honestly it would be great. If you can slip away. I really need one of my gang here with me." You say with a smile in your voice. "I'll come right now. I won't tell anyone ok. I will be there late tonight." Jamie said. "Ok. Jamie thanks so much." You say. You gave her the Curtis address and told her that if no one was there when she got here to just come in and sit on the couch till someone got there. You both said bye and hung up the phone. "What did she say?" Dallas asked while you were getting some more cake from soda. "She said he left two weeks ago to come see me and bring me back to New York. She had no idea where I was. He just said he was going to Tulsa. She hasn't seen him since. She is coming. She will get here late tonight." You said saying the part about her coming really fast and taking another bite of cake from soda. "Did you just say she was coming here?" Dallas asked. You shook your head yes while bitting your lip. "BLAZE!!" Dal yelled. "What why don't you like her? She has changed a lot since you last saw here." You said defending your best friend. "Her brother threatened to kill me if he ever saw me near her." He said. "You ain't gotta worry about him now." You said. "And why not?" Dal asked starting to calm down. "He's dead. Rusty-James kinda nearly beat him to death when he tried to get me to do something with him and I said no to him and he wasn't taking that as an answer. Then after James was finished with him some guys who had a bone to pick with him found him and kinda finished him off." "What did he want you to do?" Soda said now getting into the conversation. "Me and him were going together and he wanted me to go to one of his friends parties where everyone would get ripped and some people would even go upstairs." You said like ripping off a band aid. "You dated the nut job who threatened to kill me?" Dal asked. "Well in all fairness you wanted to mess around with Jamie. So. He kinda did the same thing." You said wanting this conversation to end. "Two wrongs don't make a right. And I didn't want to mess around with here that's just what she thought." Dallas said. "Whatever dal. She's totally over you anyways." You said taking a bite of cake. "What do you mean by she's over me." Dal asked. "She dated your best friend for two months before he broke her heart." You said. Walking into the living room. "She did?" He said looking at you. "Yup. She said he was just like you. She was over it and you." You said ending the conversation as you plopped down on the couch next to soda. "You guys ready to go see Steve" Darry asked. "Yeah" you and soda said in unison. You all walked out the door. You soda and Darry ride in those ford and the rest of the guys took twos car.
