Chapter 3

"ALL NEW STUDENTS FROM MISTRAL FOLLOW ME" said a green haired teacher. I got in the line for Mistral students. Once everyone was there, the teacher led us into the cafeteria to pick up our bags and weapons. I grabbed my bag and was just about to grab my scythe when I heard an all to familiar voice. "Hey, Brownie" said a boy with a sword on his back. "My name is Myra, scar face" I said back jokingly. "And mines Cato, not scar face" he said. I laughed. "It's nice to see you again, Cato" I said. "Same for you" he said back. I should probably explain how I know this boy, well, he's the son of Jaune Arc. My mom has been friends with his dad since she went to Beacon. So Me and Cato have known each other since we were little. He's probably the only person that I know I want to be on my team. Brownie is the nickname he calls me because of my brown hair and I call him scar face because of the big scar on his face. It had always been me and Cato's dream to go to Beacon together, ever since we were little. We used to pretend to be huntress and huntsmen with a toy scythe and sword together. It was amazing that it was actually happening. "You comin'" he asked. I must have been staring out into space again. "Yup" I giggled. We were walking down the path outside leading to the main building. "Cato, would it be weird if I asked if we could take our first steps into Beacon together?" I asked. "Yes, but I'll do it anyway." He replied. We got to the door leading into the main building "on 3 we take our first step OK?" I said. He took my hand "one" I said "two" he said back "three!" I said and we jumped into the building. I laughed and he laughed too. It had always been me and Cato's dream to go to Beacon together, and it just came true.
